Amazon777 3rd Gear August 22, 2007 Share August 22, 2007 (edited) This is life... Buy car need a bit of luck & timing. My friend kanna the $5K COE for his Rush in Feb this year, keep cursing and swearing, also 1 bid guarantee, no COE rebate. Those who gonna sign from tomorrow onwards will be getting good deal at "lower price". But usually, after high volume of orders are taken, the dealer will increase price gradually. For those on the sideline, this is a good time to get a new car. Buy at low price now, get high COE! No need to guess, CAT A COE will return back to $10K+ next round. Amazon777 3rd Gear August 22, 2007 Share August 22, 2007 (edited) Cat A drops by so much. will we be seeing a big reduction of car prices? The new price reduction will not correspond to the $9K COE drop. Maybe $4K to $5K at most. Edited August 22, 2007 by Amazon777
Amazon777 3rd Gear August 22, 2007 Share August 22, 2007 (edited) Seems like tis batch all buy cheap Car.. Actually no rocket science, the dealers are all in cartel and the gahmen seems not to bother. Imagine people are bidding only $8K+, what does it say. I believe people should already know that the bid just after CNY and during Seventh month has a certain element of potential COE crash . Prepare for the same crash next year after CNY, if all remain status quo and if gahmen not going to reduce COE quota. Kahlid Neutral Newbie August 22, 2007 Share August 22, 2007 Totally no transparency, COE drop by $9K and price dropped by $4K? We should all be bidding COE ourselves and let market force decides the price, just like the stock market. The COE system should not be used by the AD as another profit making tool. Comfy 1st Gear August 22, 2007 Share August 22, 2007 The SE will not have the right to say how much to bid.. it's the company behind him.. someone who sits up there decides all these. You are up against a syndicate the SE is just a smiling face (or nice body) that the syndicate hires to please you syndicate.. what a word to use.. Watwheels Supersonic August 23, 2007 Share August 23, 2007 (edited) Just heard over the radio there was a technical glitch. A number of bidders could not log in their bids which resulted in the low coe prices. Edited August 23, 2007 by Watwheels
