Nolink Neutral Newbie September 29, 2007 Share September 29, 2007 You pay peanuts and you get monkeys. If I can afford a car then I can afford quality tires. If not, I would just drive slow on some crappy stuff so not to risk into an accident. I am sure mature drivers know what to spend and what not to when it comes to family safety. Robertoon Neutral Newbie September 30, 2007 Share September 30, 2007 hankook is near japanese pricing...but the fact are they performing better or at least on par with japanese brand ...i am sure driver who used japanese brand and Hankook before knows the answer well... If not how HANKOOK shop survive being a 1 branded shop....
Robertoon Neutral Newbie September 30, 2007 Share September 30, 2007 some Hankook size is at jap pricing but those sizes are with higher spec than the jap like higher speed rating, higer load index, longer mileage usage...Some driver only see $ figure but not fact or spec.... Hamburger Hypersonic September 30, 2007 Share September 30, 2007 oh yes, other than $ saving, the speed rating is V over the BS H rating.tats another reasons for e change.I may not go tat fast, but is reasuring 2 noe u ve a higher spec.
Abba Neutral Newbie October 2, 2007 Share October 2, 2007 Robert Interesting point. For me, firstly it's the value of the product that it offers, secondary is the brand. As in most companies, they have 1 great flagship product and those below run of the mill just ride on the Brand & reputation that has been built up. I find hankook has a comprehensive range of good Pdt that caters to diff segments

I think you should PAY to be a merchant here rather than disguise yourself as an end user.

Abba Neutral Newbie October 8, 2007 Share October 8, 2007 I have more than 1 vehicle in my stable and have used many brands & models of tyres many have not even heard of Love Falken GRB Tune II ~ 8-9 yrs ago. Loved S0-2 to death ~7yrs ago. I used the first batch of GY F1 German rubbers ~5 yrs back. I'm into Kooks now, cos they're prob the best value for $$ rubbers in town now. Still sound like a merchant

Bentwy Neutral Newbie October 8, 2007 Share October 8, 2007 (edited) what the hell has your age got to do with the issue here? don't play the age game my friend. age doesn't make you wiser nor more objective. i was asking you a fair question. your posts are nothing short of selling a product. any 3rd party can be the judge. so let me be clear - your posts seem to only be centered around propagating the various positive attributes about hankook tyres. in this forum and in various others. are you a merchant, or do you have any financial gain from the sale of hankook tyres in Singapore? straight answer please - don't beat around the aged mulberry bush.
