Genie47 1st Gear October 1, 2008 Share October 1, 2008 (edited) If it is Jonkers you want to be near, usually hotels that use heritage buildings. Hotel Puri is one. http://www.hotelpuri.com/ Prices will not be 100 a night. Baba House Hotel is just opposite it. http://www.melaka.net/babahouse/ A lot cheaper. Can get a room at 95 a night. Video of Baba House. Check hotel.melaka.net for details. Aldy Hotel is super hip looking. Rooftop action. http://www.melaka.net/aldyhotel/ Edited October 1, 2008 by Genie47

Othello Supersonic October 10, 2008 Share October 10, 2008 actually malacca is small, can basically walk everywhere !! its not easy to get a decent room for less than RM100 near jonkers ... even the RM99 per night lousy guesthouse i stayed near mahkota is . i suggest you up your budget by a bit .... if travelling with partner/family stay a bit better lah, if alone than heck care, just get the cheapest room available ... Kelpie 2nd Gear October 29, 2008 Share October 29, 2008 can recommend as stated? preferably less than 100 ringget I won't want to stay in a budget hotel. These are usually hotels that have no guarded car park facility and some even share car park lots with neighbouring stores/shops. 4 stars hotel with proper parking facility is the lowest I go for in MY.
