Any recommendation for ear digging?

This infection is painful and I do have a high threshold for pain.

If go ENT, they can immediate clear away your clogged, no need to dip any ear wax softener into your ear before that de. But the procedure for this is not cheap for private.

Did you seek advice from the ENT doctor on how to maintain the ear after the small hole episode? I also have some problem to my ear until i also dont dare anyhow touch my ear, now no choice but to spend money to go to ENT for maintenance once a while. If not infection set in again.

I did ask my doctor if I should go see ENT doc but he discouraged me . . "So expensive"

 

He checked my ear again and reassured me "This one no problem, I can do"

 

Been dripping earwax softening liquid into my left ear by myself this few nights . . . my son did it for me when he came back 

from camp over the weekend.

 

I hope it is really soft right now becos my doc said the impacted earwax quite hard.

 

Hope he can clear it with this infection still going on.

Ear infection and LS? Feeling must be very bad, still able to sleep? I remember when i had serious ear infection, cannot sleep well for days. You need to give it some time, the blockage will go away de, importantly dont think much about it and it would make you feel better.

My doc peeped inside with his apparatus and said swollen and got pus. 

Actually if your ear is blocked due to wax, ear syringing can liao. Just need to soften the wax first before ear syringing. If not would not have much effect even you go do your ear syringing.

15 yrs ago I went to see a ENT at Raffles Hosp  bec I keep hearing echo and noises in my ear. Hearing was also not good on one side. 

 

He sucked out a piece of wax that had been pushed in when I use cotton to clean the ear.  At the end , I realised still the old method of cleaning works better. 

 

If yours got pus , must have been listening to all the bad things .

How come old method of cleaning works better le? Thought it would pushed your wax further inside your ear? So after sucking out a piece of wax from your ear, your hearing better and no more echo and noises ah?

Old method refer to the old traditional chinese method ...... using a small "metal spoon" to scoop . 

That wont push in the wax. 

 

ya , after remove all back to normal . the Wax was sitting on eardrum , so affecting hearing . Now I can hear anyone speaking bad about me from 1 KM in Radius ..... dont play play

Recently, I have been a bit hard of hearing and this could be due to ears being clogged up with too much wax and dirt.

 

Any recommendations for ear digging services other then those at barber shops?

Have you tried ear candling? I find it better than digging or trying some cleaning solution.

One of my staff got one side affected suddenly one day. After a couple jabs of steroids, still could not recover the hearing. Heard it was virus infection and rather fast. With hearing aid now, hearing still very weak on that one side. Permanent hearing loss scary. How to prevent or anyway to heal?

Want to dig ear, just clean the outer part with cotton bud...

Traditional pick is the worst.
