Honda Fit is a nice car...my targetted car after my starlet is a Honda Airwave :D

Are you still fishing? Btw, have you ever drove your starlet up to Tanjung Leman Jetty? I'm planning for a trip tp Sibu Kelong but have never drove my starlet up. I'm afraid that my lao chio bu (EP70) cannot stand the long distance run.

Any EP70 owners that have drove long distance runs before? Like more than 200km at one go?

Cool. What would you guys recommend to do before leaving for a long distance (>200km) drive?

I can think of:

1) Top up engine oil, ensure the oil level is sufficient.

2) Tyre pressure is sufficient

3) Check for spare tyre's condition, ensure tyre pressure is enough also

4) Top up coolant department with water to the full mark (I'm using water as coolant, never used coolants for my lau chio bu)

Anymore checks/maintenance that you guys recommend before beginning the drive out?

Shiiiit, that sucks....middle of the night somemore...

Yes brakes and all, I think its better to visit the mech before going out on such a trip. Talking about batteries, I'm running on dry cell..so if battery dies on me..means confirm die.............................

btw, how much does jump start cable cost?

Yea, I agree, am planning to bring it for a check up 2 weeks before my trip, though my trip's date is not firm yet...

For dry cell batteries, any way to check the health of it before going off?

Yea..I got a very old school volt meter, I think the standard reading for the voltage should be 12-13 volts when the engine is running right? Correct me if I'm wrong [scholar] hahahaha..if you guys wanna see my old school voltmeter, I'll take a photo of it and show to you guys.

Anyways..I just swopped to dry cell about 4-5 months ago, so I guess it should still be in pretty good shape, will still get my mech to check it out just to be sure.

Been wanting to let Saber check out my car's condition and recommend repairs, but I spend quite abit on dolling up my lao chio bu this month liao..close to $600 le...think I'll need a break before visiting Saber (cuz im sure there are parts that needs to be repaired)

Do everyone of you here visit just one mech? or do you have like a few mechs to visit for various problems?

Yea...for my mech, he doesn't charge exorbitantly, he charges very reasonably.

I would definately like to let Saber feel my lao chio bu because he's very experienced with them old ladies. He's familiar with their needs, judging from their moans and squeals.. [inlove][inlove][inlove]
