Lexusls460 Neutral Newbie December 16, 2010 Share December 16, 2010 Camry will nvr be RWD & 6 pot because it is a volume pusher. Manufacturing cost must be low. Fuel efficiency must be high. Lastly, Toyota don't export any RWD sedan since the demise of Cressida. crown, mark x are both rwd
inlinesix Hypersonic December 16, 2010 Share December 16, 2010 crown, mark x are both rwd Official, it is JDM.
Bladerunner 1st Gear December 16, 2010 Share December 16, 2010 Both thai and jdm camry have the same sound insulation, most noticeable are the noise coming in from the front wheel arch area...

Yaloryalor 5th Gear December 25, 2010 Share December 25, 2010 Camry new price Camry 2.0 @ 149488 Camry 2.4 @ 154488 Camry Hybrid @ 173488 If I now wrong when COE was $7~8K, Camry 2.0 was selling about $78K only. Now COE $72K, car is selling close to $15K liao. Meaning to say the profit margin of BM is higher? or due to higher OMV?

Tireburner 3rd Gear December 25, 2010 Share December 25, 2010 The lowest Camry 2.0 went was priced at $72.888 in January last year. I missed that one by one month, as I booked in end Dec. Still got a good deal nonethelss with paying slightly 4k more than that. Heck, today's COE price equals the whole car early last year! Hard to imagine things could have changed so dramatically. I think BM would be going out of business soon, if not would be affected badly. With this kind of price, only top income earners would be buying and they will go for Contis exclusively. Mona-vie 1st Gear December 27, 2010 Share December 27, 2010 and its made in Thailand! Doesn't really matter to me cause i like the design. Only if they made it RWD or 4WD and throw in a 2.5L V6.... Then it will be really great car...... I like Camry compared to markX. Btw, a manual will be even better.
