The pork knuckle was around S$30++

not a bad price for a restaurant-pub.

I might just go there for some and knock down some whisky shots hehe

I love fried pork knuckle...hahah

The other day, I had one at the German pub at Vivocity...

The waitress was amazed that it was for me alone given that it was huge! [laugh]

Another nice place for fried pork hock (whole pork leg) is that filipino restaurant over at Marina Square...

The serving was so large we had to tapao quite a bit home...

I quite like the pork knuckle at Marche. Crunchy crispy skin, succulent meat with plenty of fat. I always tell the guy not to cut it up and I will use my hands, mouth and a knife to tear it up and devour it. The best part is when you reach the bones and you knaw on the cartilage, meat, fat, marrow! Yum...

If you have an appetite like mine, one whole knuckle + 1 large salad should suffice. Otherwise, half a knuckle should be enough (my parents share 1/2).

Check it out.

Nothing wrong with liking fish nor seafood. Unless you don't even consume seafood at all,

or have a allergic to seafood. My personal consumption of seafood in one meal, as stated in a previous

post, would be 2kgs of Live groupers, and 2kgs of live prawns, with 4kgs of crabs, all steamed.

and that is just one meal. :D

thot you prefer "Hum" or Oyster....RAW ones.... [laugh][laugh]

knn...2kgs of Live groupers, and 2kgs of live prawns, with 4kgs of crabs, all steamed.

Like I said before, I never was mainstream to start with, so what the masses said to me, didn't mean anything

to me either, because I didn't give a hoot to what other people's comments and gossips. IT's my own life and health,

and I do what I feel and know is right. Neither do I need to broadcast what I've eaten either. So long as I'm happy,

and healthy, who cares what the rest of the world thinks. Don't you agree? Also, the rest of the world didn't pay for my

food either. If eating so much seafood would kill you, then look at the fishermen of old, main diet would be.......what else?

Back to seafood. Live fish is awesome! [thumbsup]

Yup - we are improving our own health and that of our loved ones...

If the masses do not want to wake up, then it's their loss...hahah

Sashimi anytime bro...hahah

Actually Skunk should be the healthiest among us as he catches his own meals [laugh]

I used to fish quite a bit previously - nothing beats preparing my own catch for dinner (of course the cleaning bit can get very messy)

I made my own grilled pork hocks for dinner last night...a lot of gnawing on the cartrilage and tendons - yummy

I also fried up a batch of pork lard (polished off the crunchy bits in 3 minutes) to use as cooking oil for the whole week...

Quick question - would you go as far as to drink the pork lard oil like coconut oil? hahah

Yeah, live is still the best man, no need sauces and all that crap.

Natural sweetness and freshness unparalleled.

and caught flower crabs and catfish daily, thinking about it now, lau nuah man!
