Pchmj Clutched March 30, 2010 Share March 30, 2010 My car just reach 3 years old, lost the inspection notice letter from LTA. Do I actually need to bring that letter along for inspection? Am I right to say that after inspection then I can pay my road tax. How about insurance? Is it car inspection first --> renew insurance --> renew road tax? I intend to renew insurance first, then go inspection center at the same time renew road tax. Is it the right way to do? ↡ Advertisement
Watwheels Supersonic March 30, 2010 Share March 30, 2010 (edited) You can do your inspection first. Just pick up a piece of scrap paper at the cashier counter, scribble your car register no. and pass it to the cashier with payment. No need letter also can. As you wish. Insurance first or inspection first, does not matter. I usually pay insurance first dan go inspection, once everything pass I go to the road tax counter and settle everything there. Depends on which way is easier for you. Edited March 30, 2010 by Watwheels

Mockngbrd Supersonic March 30, 2010 Share March 30, 2010 inspection first...without the cert you cannot renew insurance or road tax
Ghostrider 3rd Gear March 30, 2010 Share March 30, 2010 Inspection or insurance can do first...then renew Road Tax... But do it online lah...for 2 reason. 1) Online renewal the road tax disc print swee swee one...like when you first bought your car the same machine print and not the ugly hand scribble and marker pen canel kind. 2) Lucky draw. Since you have to pay and same amount....might as well try your luck. My time was a PSP GO....now dunno what prize....check one motoring for info.
