Ah_roy81 Neutral Newbie May 13, 2010 Share May 13, 2010 Hi guys, i dont noe whether any related topics has been posted b4 on tis but here goes..recently i have a fren who bought Armor All's wheel protectant which is supposed to form a protective barrier on rims so dat dust and dirt wont stick on it making it easier to clean the rims. There's a demo video on Armor All's website showing how it works. I find it a chore to clean my rims of the stubborn stains..after cleaning the stains will appear after a few days and my job takes up alot of my time so i cant wash my car/rims very often. So i find the wheel protectant quite useful but i was quite turn off by the price for a small bottle $16.50, so i tot of another way is to use car body wax on our rims, does it offer any similar protective barrier? Anyone tried b4? All replies will benefit fellow forumners too. Thanx in advance. ↡ Advertisement

Normally on 4th week of Sunday will wash my rims and re-spray. I also did used wax before purchased this small little bottle, the wax seem cannot compare with this However I will try other product on one of the side , to find alter way as it really expensive. Palmer 1st Gear May 16, 2010 Share May 16, 2010 Saw this product and was quite impressed by the ad. But one thought came to my mind. What if I over-spray it to the brake disks and pads? Will it have any effects on my brakes? Cheers :)

I think German cars got softer brake pads & rotor,i used to drive an Rover75,brakes is almost the same as BMW,stopping power not very good, but alot of brake dusts, now my 370z,brakes are much better, yet the rims are very clean.
