What happen if no one is around at home when the DHL courier came? Can it be direct to somewhere else for pickup or can I specified the arrival time of the courier agent. Use their tracking service and you know when they arrive in SG and where the courier is on the way.... you can the local office to re-arrange if necessary. I always give Borderlinx instruction to deliver on Tuesday. On Thursday, i will call up DHL to deliver on Sat morning. On Sat morning, DHL deliver my goods on the dot. Albeniz Turbocharged January 24, 2011 Share January 24, 2011 (edited) DHL tried to deliver the item to my house for 3 times. The first time, they came at ~12pm on Thursday. I called their service hotline to tell them to come after 9pm as nobody would be around in the afternoon even during the weekends. They came again on Saturday ~12pm, as expected, nobody was around to receive the item. I called them again to tell them to come after 9pm (even if it is a Sunday). On Sunday, they came at 4 plus (luckily my brother was around, for that third attempt). I have also left instructions for them to call my handphone should they decide to bring forward the delivery time as I need to rush home from elsewhere. The item arrived in Singapore in the early morning on 20-1-2011. DHL tried to deliver on the same afternoon but nobody was at home. Item finally received on 23-01-2011 ater the third delivery attempt. Before that , I have called DHL to arrange the delivery time, but the delivery guy didn't follow the timing agreed with the telephone operator (who took down down the instructions). I think the coordination in SG does not have any effect (shipping detail all from US), I notice DHL usually arrive SG from HK in the morning and straight away to their local dispatch and that's why they are at your door before 1 pm...
