Juz went for the viewing at Kia yesternite it was gd the food and drinks was gd plus the test drive was not too shabby... Overall interior had loads of space and well appointed trim with alot of goodies juz like bro merkava hhas mentioned.

Engine was quiet unless pushed above 4k rpm. 1 bad thing is the brakes they seem squishy like tofu can't really get a grip when u need it the most. it needs to be depressed all the way to have any braking effect.

Overall a gd buy at 100k if COE drops any further. yester nite it was going for 115999 but with no sunroof n HID so perhaps might wanna wait till this current stock of 50 K5 sold out before returning to showroom...

What are the available interior colours? How's the artificial leather-trimmed centre console and How's the interior quality like? Comparable to Sportage or comes with soft-touch plastics?

I'm surprised that owners of German luxury makes will give a 2nd look at a kia

When your make gets too popular on the roads, some would want to go for a change. He might be looking at the K5 as his 2nd/3rd/4th/5th car for all you know? Why take offence?

yes soft touch plastics on dash n on doors and there is faux leather trimming on the doors and individual cubbies to hold drinks on each door.

3 colors available fro selction with 2 selection for 2 tones namely beige on balck or grey on black and 1 monotone black.

Yes comparable to sportage.

But the indicator switches and stalks still feel cheap due to the use of cheap plastics... My Fiat GP's feel much better despite being a smaller car.

Overall still a gd buy compared to other korean or jap makes.

The dashboard really looks cluttered, just like an Audi. No guess since the designer is from ex-Audi too.

As long as the K5 isn't too plasticky like the Forte or Sportage or Sorento, then i guess there's chance for it to sell pretty well.

Man, those LEDs on the rear lights look like those on Audis!

Alas, I can't stomach paying 120K for this. Hope COE goes down to 30K or so. 90K would be reasonable!

Neutral Newbie

I always believe seeing the actual thing will be better, the design of the dashboard is more to driver oriented.

IMO, I like the overall design of the vehicle. 6 airbags, HID and paranomic roof will make it a complete deal to me....
