Has the MSK escape fiasco has anything to do with him stepping down. Kinda late to relive him of high profile position.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has made sweeping changes to the Cabinet including new promotions for some with effect from 1 November.

 

Incumbent Home Affairs Minister, Mr Wong Kan Seng will step down from his post as Home Affairs Minister and will proceed to take over as Co-ordinating Minister for National Security from Professor S Jayakumar.

 

Professor S Jayakumar will remain as Senior Minister in the Prime Minister

cos it going to eraction. it better not to let the opp give something to talk about. he is fat enough from the non corrupt salary he has taken

right, he is generally being perceived as one of the most incompetent minister in the cabinet ever since MSK escaped and a few immigration scrwed up that allow some high profile criminals to cross the border (AH how, richard yong and msk)

he is still deputy prime minister

 

But the past few time the stand in prime minister was Teo chee hean.. Now wsk heads a division for popultion and talent, don't sound like a important portfolio..

He just made a honest mistake, why you guys always remember it.

Don't so quick jump into conclusion. Population/Talent don't sound familiar to you? FT = population = cost of living etc...

 

 

Why don't he just retire and go home baby sit grandchildrens!

Ya confirm got to do with msk..

 

Usu gahmen won't so quick demote or reorganize 1.. Remember yeo cheow tong in the nicoll highway incident..

Onli after sometime then they reorg.. Won't wanna make themselves look bad..

 

Now 1 minister got to cover 2 siong portfolio.. Guess got no suitable replacement for now.
