Tried and it didn't help. I did factory reset, first navigation is ok but subsequent navigation no voice.

You also face this issue? Ya most probably going back there to let them fix it..

Hope your issue will be rectified. I think better just turn on navigation to play around a bit.

Definitely better than standard models. But then comes with a price. Comparing with the barebone 1.6civic, I gonna pay 5k more for the premium interior and maybe exterior.

But if go up one more level. That's 12k more. I don't think I can justify that. Hahahaha.

My main concern is the front sensor though. Sigh..

Gonna test drive this Saturday or Sunday. Will see how it turns out.

The additional 7k I need to save for marriage sia. Or just ditch the engagement ring. Hahahahahah

Hi bro, am driving a 2016 Standard model here. My take on latest GVC Exec model:

sound system: my 6-speaker one has decent clarity and definition. have tried to blast bass and have distortion but no cracking. Bose system is better. try both.

LED headlights, chrome grill: more contemporary/classy look and better resaleability. However, whole LED headlight assembly has to be replaced if a bulb spoils whereas Std model just change halogen bulb as per normal..

front parking sensor: quite worth it as Mz6 is a long car with long wheelbase + large front overhang, easy to scrape front bumper

Blindspot + RCTA: very practical and useful active safety features, utility depends on how careful you are as a driver.

keyless entry: convenience feature if you do a lot of shopping/loading.

auto headlight/auto wiper: never used it on previous Cefiro, still toggle it myself manually for greater control.

Active Driving Display: novelty will wear off after a while.

Personally, I find the Exec a better deal than previously in 2016 FL1 which didn't have sensor/BLIS/RCTA but the topup is larger (7k vs 5k). Boils down to how much you like the new FL chrome grill and LED + front sensor/safety. If you want the full suite of luxury features befitting a CAT B then go for it. For myself, I can do without most of it, except front sensor which is a biggie. Planning to install aftermarket one. Headlights also a concern for me as family plans to drive 10yrs.

Mazda paint is water base, due to environmental friendly. In future most car will be water base. No choice, our paint will chip off easily just like Ferrari paintwork.

I tried the color n paint. I touch up and the color doesn't seems to match. Dunno if they gave me the wrong color, am checking with them. Anyway it didn't turn out to be like the videos they showed. Wasted my $50. :p

I also notice that the paintwork tends to chip rather easily and is not as glossy as I would expect of a metallic color. When I try to exit the car without opening the door widely to avoid scratching an adjacent car in tight parking space, there're a few times when the rear buttons of my pant rubbed against the edge of my rear door below the centre pillar, and caused tiny bits of the paint to peel off.

Wrap whole car using 3m, it prevent stone chips, scratches and protect your paintwork color. Down side, wrapping is expensive.. easily 3k for full car..

Around 6 months in, windscreen of my my dad's new mazda 6 suddenly cracked.

AD says not under warranty and refuses to do anything...

Is this really the case?

Any options aside from claiming insurance?
