What Mazda they do at 1K,5K servicing since no oil change?

So they change oil at 10K servicing?

Just do some checking..read "Molest" your Car. [thumbsdown]  [bigcry] ....sometime come back with extra......Scratches [bigcry] ...just beware..

Recently i enquired about extended warranty for M6. Was told the cost would be 2.6k same coverage as 3 years that came with new cars. 100k or 5 years.

Any advise if worth it?

Not Worth....

U suggest change oil at 5K servicing, mean that pay Mazda to change oil or change outside?

Hi guys. Just collected my mz6 2.0 exc for a week, first tank able to clock about 14km/L with light footed with iStop off, expressway 70/30 and rpm below 3k(cos car is run in period, anyway nowadays cars need to be run in or not, I am not too sure).

So is this feul composition normal or below average? cos from sgcartmart, mz6 states 16.9km/L, that is around 20% percent different from the actual.

Mine is 1 week old too. FC is ard 14km/l too. I think it's normal for a mid sized Japanese car.

I did 5.8L/100km (or 17.24km/L) fully on highway after filling the tank.

While on 50/50 urban/highway, I could get 9L/100km or 11.11km/L.

The good thing about the display on Mazda is, you could get so many stats, the average since the last refuel, the average of this drive, the average previous drives, the average of the past 1 to 10 mins, and past 10mins to 60mins at every 10mins intervals.

Any difference in FC when using RON95 vs RON97 or RON98?

98 a tad better performance...better FC & engine Smoothness.

Marginal to no difference between 95 and 97.

95 - 9.1L/km

97 - 8.9L/km & 9.0Lkm.

98 - Can't comment as I have not refueled with 98 so far.

I've been using 98 for more than 10 years. This is confirmed.

Been trying out 95/98 past 2 months. Confirm also 98 offers better $$ per km. On top of that, you get more power and smoother ride. Almost a brainless decision:)
