The audi A4 non quattro is around high $160k close to $170k,but with virtual cockpit thrown in,rear camera that's about it.

 

That's almost 30k difference

 

I supposed some buyer still may find the difference too big

 

Also A4 not that fantastic besides the badge and the fancy cockpit thing, worth 20+ to 30k... To each his own

The default list increased to $180+k I saw..maybe I saw the wrong one.....but I had enough of conti car....still not that fantastic as many mentioned though maybe better than jap car....

 

To be fair I didn’t own Audi before , rented for few months when overseas but the other German make own 4 models before .....money pit....

Actually Mazda are not considered high value though they are great cars in driving perspective. But people perception affects car value a lot. I will recommend you to view these lease and sale deals, hope it will help you because after all Mazda should not be under estimated.

Not true. Same pricing could be bringing down executive to standard or vice versa or making adjustment towards a middle price.

 

The price increased is inline with Coe increased.

hi all!

 

just collected my new mazda 6 std today. A few issues which i was wondering if i could get some help with and feed on the wisdom of the pros here!

 

1. the camera being only recording when the engine is on and not 24hrs 

- i was aware of this issue. but the SP told me if i tried to tamper with it the 3yr warranty for the whole car is gone?? 

 

2. Am considering changing to 19inch rims to give it a more sporty look, does it affect the FC or noise in any way while driving?

 

3. found the mid gear shifting is not as smooth as my VW, tends to rev to 3k rpm on steady foot pressure when accelarting up the freeway. Anybody face the same experience? any tips?

 

side note was also keen to upgrade to keyless entry, however SP also told me warranty will void :(

I did for 4 doors, bonnet. and boot trunk.

I dont hv gadget or install any apps to record the before/after noise level.

And I DIY the seal stripe installation.

 

I find that when i travel more than 80km/h the squeaky wind noise reduce.

When I travel 140 at NS highway, it was very loud. But I will soon go in and try again.

The bus and motor next to me, the noise is not as shape as before and more dampen.

 

Not sure is it psychologically because of sticking the seal stripe, it lower the road noise abit, really just abit, maybe 5% lower.

I guess road noise by tire couldn't get rid easily, what I heard in the past, now i still hearing it.

That is Mazda famous for it.

Unless you spend more insulation/sound proofing the whole car, from exterior fender, to interior roof to floor, and all the door. And also change to quieter tire.

 

I'm not expert, but we have a few bro here sharing the speaker and sound proofing, they can tell more :)

You are correct, The Mazda6 is a well-established and somewhat secret executive car. I say secret, as the Mazda 6 is one of the best built and designed cars I have come across in this ever more competitive car market. 

 

This is a good looking and well-equipped car. Reliability has been excellent so far, and running costs are quite low for a car this size. Only two problems I have with it. 1. Even though the car is bigger outside than the older model, there is less room and a lot less storage space on the inside. 2. The petrol engine is less powerful, and the car slower, than the diesel equivalent. (Bring back the good old days when petrol ruled supreme). 

 

In a sentence, Classy car, a pleasure to drive, comfortable, powerful and fun.

And I borrow this pry tool from friend.

To bro who encountered map update problem between Feb - Mar 2019. The map update is working now.

Notice Mazda updated the Mazda Toolbox.

Please uninstall the reinstall the new one Mazda Toolbox

2.

Follow instruction, Install, backup, and download/installing --> Completed

 

3. 

I put back the car tested everything works fine. All preset setting and fav retained.

Yes it mentioned for until 2017. Only the glove box and boot trunk LED is different the rest all the same as previous gen of Mazda.

 

Mines also M6 2018 model collected in 2019 Feb. :)

 

Only 1 cover pretty tough for my case. All cover can be taken off pretty OK. First time probably thigher.
