Hi, I'm in urgent need of a boot tray for the mazda 6 FL model. Ideally the boot tray is able to cover the 2 sides.

I have 2 strollers and the wheels are dirty!

Anyone can assist?

If what u want is a boot tray that is deeper (have to remove your spare tyre) my friend has a extra set but i don't know if it is still available

I still want to keep my spare tyre. Im looking for a rubber cover to be placed on top of my boot space as the stroller wheels are very dirty.

I found some sellers online but most of them said their size is compatible for the 2018 model (pre FL). Is it the same size as the current FL model?

I bought this boot mat for my Mazda6 which is current model (collected Feb 2019) and it fits well

Would appreciate advice on upkeep of car body work. Do you guys start polishing your new car 3 or 6 months after getting it or earlier?.

A friend of mine started his 2 weeks after getting his Lexus! He said its important to start maintaining early.

Our Mazda 6 comes coated with 'Brila' so wondering if necessary to start earlier.

Any views much appreciated.

Can ask if any Mazda 6 FL owners tried fitting rear spoiler?

Do you know our local Eurokars have stock or fit them?

If not where can one find it?

JB?

New cars are already brila coated, so it really depends how often you wash your car. Ive gotten my car 6 months ago, and i handwash it almost every week with meguiars car wash liquid. Will apply meguiars utimate detailer after wash once every weeks to keep the shine.

So it all depends how much effort you want to put in to maintain it.

P.s. you only need to recoat after 12 months. Dont bother recoating every 3-6 months, utter waste of money.

Quik detailer here https://www.sgcarmart.com/products/overview.php?ID=7313

You can get most of the meguiars products from autobacs, lazada etc

I actually send my car in for ceramic coating once I collected it while the surface is still pristine as I believe that the surface condition is very important. If Brila coating is as hard as ceramic coating then probably don't need to do so but I wasn't sure what is Brila coating behind all the marketing talk.

During the collection, my SE advised to use the normal car shampoo (without any wax) will do. Reason is because the car came with the brila coating already, hence any waxing content may reduce or strip the effectiveness of the brila coating.

I'm currently using autoglym ( PH Neutral) car shampoo from autobacs.

Polish based on the condition of the paintwork. If you see fine scratches and swirl marks all over your car, regardless of age, then might be a good idea to polish.

Remember polishing actually removes a top layer of clearcoat to get rid of the scratches. If you polish too much, then eventually you will run out of clearcoat and start polishing off the paint itself (which is bad).

Really depends on how well your upkeep is or not. I clean my 6 month old car every week and apply a new layer of wax on every other week. When I got the car I put 3 layers of wax on it (with curing time in between). To date, I have minimal scratch or swirl marks - so no need to polish.

If your friend polished the car when there were no scratches or swirls, then he's wasting energy and shortening the lifespan of the paintwork.

If its because you just want the exercise, then there are some polishes without 'cut' AND just a glaze to fill the scratches. Something like meguiars ultimate polish. Or you could just polish someone else's car.

I saw a maid clean a new E-class at my Condo. Made me cry. Was using dishwashing liquid to clean the car and to dry the car down she just used newspaper.
