Carhorn 5th Gear August 6, 2019 Share August 6, 2019 Interesting.. I find the new M6 quite rare on the road. Most of what I saw were the pre FL model (horizontal grill) yes new M6 is very rare. Not many people can afford it. M performance, M price wait.... do you mean Mazda 6? bwahahahaha ↡ Advertisement

Evoz08 1st Gear August 6, 2019 Share August 6, 2019 This price is fantastic... I should have booked mine during my first visit to Mazda showroom, when the listed price was still 114888.... I just could not commit without doing some homework on the car features and reviews. By the time I made up my mind, listed price went up to 120888. Thanks to bro SpaceMooMoo, I managed to booked mine at reasonable discount and was given open cat COE without the need to go for bidding tomorrow. My advice is decide based on the discount given rather than the final price. The listed price usually fluctuats a lot thanks to our COE system in SG. So at what price did you get for your Mazda 6 when the list price was $120888?
Skywire01 1st Gear August 6, 2019 Share August 6, 2019 Meaning if current sgcarmart list price is $123888, after discount etc, the price quoted to me now $110888 is considered reasonable? Although I understand everyone's definition/tolerance of reasonable discount is different. Example here is $13k discount might be good for me but may not be to others. Up to each individual's level of comfort. So far i have gathered that the freebies you can negotiate for but not necessary get it.. 1. Magnetic shade 2. Additional 6 months road tax 3. Car mats 4. Free 3 years servicing 5. Boot tray 6. 1k service credits Of course the SE will try their best to talk you out of it..etc citing price increases if you ask for all these included but it all depends on your negotiation skills and how desperate they want to close the deal.. The standard freebies are 1. Car cam ( which by the way its ugly IMO) 2. Brila coating 3. Overtrade of 1k if got existing car

Thinking of asking another $2k off my car price if I give up some freebies like the $1k voucher and maybe additional 6 mth road tax which both add up to $1600. ferrytales 4th Gear August 6, 2019 Share August 6, 2019 Wow. Then its a good price. I think the COE dipped, coupled together with the launch of the Mazda 3. So possibly, TEK is trying to sell as much units as possible. I would have considered Mazda 6 if it wasn’t that common, and my previous ride was a vezel. Mazda 6 is everywhere! good to be common, lesser headache for maintenance and sourcing for parts in the future too. get a rare car and when things break down, you have limited choices of workshops and might have to wait a long while for replacement parts too. Same coe price $39k but you got the car so much lower. Now I feel like this $110k offer doesn't look that attractive at all. if they are selling mz6 2.0 exec at 100k range, its a no brainer to choose mz6 over the new mz3 albeit the higher road tax but you get a bigger interior with a more powerful engine. the drive and comfort of mz6 is a whole new level, nearing luxury for a lower price.
Kohanson 3rd Gear August 6, 2019 Share August 6, 2019 $110,888 is for executive. But I saw a post in a few pages earlier that one of the guys here said he bought executive at $108k and just collected his new car in mid July? Yea true. Our coe system plus how dealers always adjust the price with promo without promo makes comparing hard sometimes. My quote is for executive model and the current promo that they have for last weekend. Your price is for standard or executive model? Yeah, after the 6k overtrade for executive with 4 limited colours. Without the overtrade is 101,888. Rude was collected in mid July, thanks to Spurman

Every penny counts in today economy. From my own experience- dont get pressured into signing the contract and you must be comfortable with the SE otherwise once you signed, you cant change SE during coe bidding process... madcat 1st Gear August 6, 2019 Share August 6, 2019 List price for the executive is 123888 currently. Quoted price if we go down to showroom so much less? It's better to ask SE for the actual price in the showroom, as Mazda pricelist does not show the on-going promotion.

I agree. For the price of the M6 exec when it was low 100k, it was a no brainer coz it beats altis and civic hands down, and is just a tad smaller than Camry and accord. M6 is a great form of comfort and luxury for the price. Edited August 6, 2019 by josephywj
Vinceng Turbocharged August 6, 2019 Share August 6, 2019 Best trump card to negotiate is NOT to test drive so you are not locked in to that particular SE. Once you test drive, and are locked in, the SE has the upper hand.

Skywire01 1st Gear August 6, 2019 Share August 6, 2019 It can vary from different distributorships. Usually is 30 days I was told by their SE that they dont have log in system. Effectively as long as you don't sign on the agreement, you can change your SE anytime.
Evoz08 1st Gear August 6, 2019 Share August 6, 2019 My dealer says 2019 model is $113888 and 2018 model is $110888 and both cars are exactly the same in terms of looks, specs, features. Just different in year of manufacture it makes more sense for buyer to get the 2019 car since only $3k price gap?
