Mee too, having same issue every morning now and then going down the car park slope and turning right. Funny thing is that this happens only one time only so haven’t managed to speak to TEK. Do you manage to get to bottom of this?

I have exactly same symptom! Only happens in the morning and once only. I describe it like old man joint need to warm up when wake up. :D

I just went for 20k service and explained, but the agent was not friendly and said if needed she ask technician test drive with me. I said I cannot reproduce now then she said cannot fix if not reproduced...

Yes...but they used Shell 5w-30 Oil.

Have you checked with them? Any option to use 0w-20 there?

Their price is attractive, and can leave car there and go massage while waiting. ;D

But no 0w-20 is show stopper.

These are the price I got from there.

30k/50k RM350

40k RM600

60k RM1300

Hi everyone. My 1.5mth old new car just got a small chip on windscreen. Size no bigger than 10cent coin.

Any recommendation from fellow Mazda drivers for a reliable workshop to fix it? Prefer not to replace whole windscreen.

Thanks!

Edit: forgot to mention I have shortlisted Dr glass and glass fix send my car in based on online review. Happy to hear if anyone used them before.

0w-20 costs almost 30% more than 0w-30.

How much do bros here feel is a reasonable price to change EO woth original filter.

If you can afford a Car over $110,000..what is $30 to you.?You want cheap, must well get SAE 50 China Oil...for Industries Diesel Engine...just $40 for 18 Litres can use for 3 Servicing.

Thats becos you are not looking at the right stockists and you are not aware of great deals you can find online eg Lazada.

And yes, if you cannot afford the price difference, then pls sell your car away and do not ill treat your engine and shorten its lifespan.

Neutral Newbie

Just took delivery of Mz6 2019.

Any recommendation to get hella car cam to get 24x7 recording feature?

Also any car mat to recommend? 3D MAXpider/matters/or just put normal 3m over the original mat.

I realized MZ 6 only 1 x 12v socket. haiz. USB no fast charging as well. Need to route wire to the center area so messy..

Edit:

Do any feel that the back windscreen is very dark? solarfilm issue?

Well how many factory fitted USB ports comes with QC 3.0? Only Geely offer as such in their higher end models, but we can't buy Geely in SG, at least not yet. Even ang moh brands doesn't have it. Its standard 5V, 2A max. QC 3.0 is 9V, 2A.

Just get a high quality QC 3.0 12V cig plug charger from branded manufacturers eg Anker and you are all set.

I also just collected my MZ6 weeks ago and encountered the above issues:

1. Hella DR820 that came with our car is "hardwired" to turn on when car is turned on. Rewiring to support parking mode is technically possible by TEK and Amici (distributor of Hella) will not do it for us. I did get the contact of an installer in Ubi who can do this, but have not followed up with them yet. Anyway, from further research it looks like the "proper way" to use parking mode is to install an external battery, costing $300+. This is to protect our car battery from depletion (and presumably void our car battery warranty).

2. I got my car mat from TEK SE (negotiated). No brand but similar material with those from 3M. I like it as it was custom cut to fit nicely on top of the original mat. Saw similar mat at Autobacs Ubi.

3. Yeah, back windscreen is a tad dark and poses visibility problem at night. Need a bit of getting used to. The blind spot detection feature at both side mirror is a nice compromise.

MZ6 2019 FL model... My car radio seems to have problem with 93.8 FM

1. Auto tune picks up most of our local FM channels except 93.8 FM

2. Can manually tune to 93.8 FM. However frequently get minor distortion in audio quality ONLY for this channel. Mostly in East (eg. Tampines).

Not sure if this problem is isolated to my car only. Can you folks help to check if you have the same issue? Thanks

Why do you want to use 5W-40? Manufacturer has hours of testing to put the car together with rigorous testing, why change it?

Use 20 or 30. My 2006 Kia was on 20 previously without any engine failure. Please stick to manufacturer spec. and DO NOT over/under filled it. It is most important.

Well, I intend to stick to the spec recommended for Mazda 6. However would prefer to buy my own EO and bring to my own workshop. Do not want to pay for chop-carrot price charged by TEK. I happen to still have couple of bottles of 5W-40 from my previous ride (Mazda 3).

Problem is there seem to be a change in Mazda spec between the previous (2017) model and my current 2019 FL model (both appear to use the same Skyactiv engine, according to TEK sales).

In user manual for 2017 model 5W-40 is within spec for outside Europe.

In user manual for 2019, 5W-40 is not specified.
