It should work. If the infotainment system does not detect the iPhone, do try another USB cable.

i just realized my 6 rear trunk does not have alarm. It was left open the entire night without setting off any alarm.

Erm, most alarm will only sound when there’s forced entry after it is armed. In your case, was it forced open after arming or accidentally opened by your car key or boot lever before arming?

@Cheuman1 assume that you have connect the WIFI dongle that comes with the box. Mazda typically dont connect them after install the dashcam.

from the manual:

Go to smartphone Wi-Fi setting to search and connect to DVR Wi-Fi - ‘Blaupunkt_...’ and key in ‘00000000’, if device request for password.

I forget how I did it last time, try and see. Let me know if this work.

An update to my own question.

Yes, as other people said, just plug in the iPhone with the original cable, the infotainment launched Apple Carplay. No other tweak needed.

Hi everyone! Just took over a 2019 (FL) standard mazda 6 few days ago. A few questions to check with the lao jiao here! 

1) where can grab a copy of the servicing schedule. Like 90k mus change what parts and etc. 

2) im using the aircon 16 or 17 degree during day time and night time 21 - 23. Fan speed is usually 3 quarter. I guess this is not normal 

3) the car only is android auto compatible if u see a white icon beside the usb port at the center console right? 

4) the car has a 3 +2 warranty. I tried to bring in to leng kee mazda to take a look at the aircon. But they mention have to charge me 70 + to 200 + diagnostic fee to check despite the warranty. This is their usual practice? Cause my previous cars with warranty they will just check and change if anything wrong. 

5) any recommended workshop in jb for mazda?

I assume the car is older than 3 years and you are on the +2year warranty portion.

@Ang88 +2 is only for engine (and maybe transmission .. cannot remember liao) while some is 1 yr only e.g. stereo system. Cheers.

1. Maintenance schedule is in your owner’s manual page 6-3.

2. Mine is set to 22 degrees at all times and mostly sits at speed 2 aside from a short time when the car has been in the sun. Depending on age, you might need a thorough aircon system clean.

3. Yes, it is Android Auto/CarPlay ready when the USB port has the smart phone logo. It can be retrofitted at TEK at a cost.

4. No idea. My car only has the standard 3 year warranty.

5. No idea on JB workshops.

I rather fancied getting Wireless CarPlay for my car, and had been using an older iPhone that was permanently wired to the smartphone socket of the car that connected to my phone's hotspot. It was a little finicky to say the least. Sometimes I needed to manually connect the phone, other times I needed to reset apps. 

In the end, I took a bit of a risk and bought the CarLinKit 3.0, risk, because there wasn't videos on the internet that showed it would work with Mazda. Anyway:
