Just collected mine and been driving it for 2 days. I’m sure you won’t regret it. Even when I’m not driving it, it looks stunning just sitting there in the parking lot. Because it’s new and still relatively rare on the roads, I noticed that it’s been turning quite a few heads.

This Car not rare,in fact it is only 3rd Facelift Version of the 2013 Model.

Did anyone signed up for the additional 2 years warranty? The AD has an additional 2 years warranty for another $2000 if I recall right.

I was offered either a 2k discount or an extra 2 year warranty. I took the discount. Edited by Rkankc

I am currently driving a mazda 3 and i thinking to change it due to my high COE. Near to 4 years of driving, I feel that it is generally a good car, just that I am not sure if I will be bored with my ride if change from 3 to 6. Test drive both the 6 and A4 , still considering ....

I was in the same situation as you, until i decided to take the plunge and booked a new car. Lost 20k on the mazda 3 for 4 years of driving. Well, at least my new car is cheap due to the low coe.

To be honest, i had no issue with mazda 3 and was very happy with it. Hence, i took the boring route and book another mazda.

The A4 is tempting. 140-145k with all the bells and whistles (virtual cockpit) and depreciation at only 12k. If you are willing to spend, then get the A4.

Wow, 140-145k? You referring to PA or PI?

Because the list price on sgcarmart for the FWD A4 is $166,980. I understand they usually slash the price further during negotiations but 20k off?

It's AD...

I was at 2 of their roadshows (Audi Brand Experience) and the Car @ Expo.

That's why I was tempted between the Mazda 6 and the A4 but it's an extra $40k between the cars. However, its a huge discount that Audi is giving at this moment with all the bells and whistles.

Btw, A4 doesn't have PI as the price between the PI and AD is too close. It is not worth it for the PIs to bring in and compete on pricing, looking at the amount of work they will have to do to get the cars OTR.

Certainly makes it very tempting given the quantum of the discount the Audi AD is offering!

Had wanted to head down to car expo that weekend but the parking situation was !@#$%, gave up in the end.

Just wanted to have a look at the new Lexus ES. Won't be able to afford one in the meantime, but still nice to dream.

The main thing why I liked Audi was that they bring in their nicer bells and whistles (like adaptive cruise with stop and go function), which makes city driving much less stressful. As opposed to TEK, even their highest-trim Mz6 doesn't carry the radar module needed to enable those functions.

I was there earlier and had lunch before heading to the expo as I knew the parking would be crazy.

I took a look at the new ES and it blew my mind.. The design, build quality, seat comfort and space is just amazing. My parents sat in the car and they were blown away, even asking me when can I buy one..  [:|]

My aim in this lifetime is to be able to own a GS 450h :D

Unfortunately, I'm waaaaay below "mediocre", so chances are by the time I can afford one, I collect CPF liao.

It's actually a pretty good car for point A to B, sedate driving style like mine.

But then again, not really my type of car (a bit too small!).

Maybe can aim a bit lower for the ES 300h... Eventually...

I collected the 2.5l premium, really enjoyed the ride. The caveat would be that my previous car is a mazda 3. So I do enjoy the increase in power and interior comfort

thanks buddy!

Just out of curiousity...

Any difference in handling characteristics between your old GS (I understand it's rear-wheel drive) vs the new ES (which is front-wheel drive)?

All my cars thus far (including my current Mz6 2.5L) are front-wheel drive.
