richard_crl032 6th Gear November 14, 2018 Share November 14, 2018 The stock 19 inch are not Low profile ones. There is actually a lot of rubber compared other 19 inches I see in more expensive cars. I think itâs a great compromise on comfort, performance and most of all looks. Downside is the tire choices are limited. For noise, the soft purr on sports mode and the initial throwback is music to my ears. Especially when a loud car with big spoilers come up and tailgate you when cruising at 90 to 100. Flick the switch, step on it and it takes them forever to catch up and irritate you. The tame family Sedan becomes a Mazdarati.ð Pls elaborate on the red inserts for wind noise. That is a major issue with me as I find the wind noise too loud at speeds above 110. Thanks. Hi Chong, No big spoilers or loud but if you see a very quiet deblacked silver forester fxt without roof rack and on lane 1 behind you, pls move to lane 2 if possible and let him go hor ... lane 1 is for overtaking unless there are cars on lane 2 and you flickering of switch may not work ... keke ! Cheers, Richard Remember share us ur experience compare to stock T005A after using Primacy. I am always a supporter to Bridgestone GR100 and T005A now. richard_crl032 6th Gear November 16, 2018 Share November 16, 2018 (edited) Changing to 17 inch is something I'm considering. It's a tradeoff in looks vs comfort... The 19 rims gives the car a much more sporty look but much less comfortable. And u are right that the 2.5 engine doesnt sound stressed when picking up. Hi Hobbes, Between the 2 considerations, I would go for comfort then sporty look .....but that is just me. Comfort is 100% felt each time your drive while sporty look is only when you walk towards it ... Cheers, Richard Remember share us ur experience compare to stock T005A after using Primacy. Hi S2s1, Sure but believe no comparison one else I wun throw good $ also ... just look at the thread pattern between T005A and Primacy 3/4 especially the much touted ST series with bros' experience and feedback. Anyone keen on 3 months old mazda 6 stock 19 inch rims? I like the new 2018 17 inch rims if anyone wants to swap :p Hi Hobbes, Sorry if I have misled you .. 17" and 18" does NOT differs very much on FC and cost of tyres but yes a bit on comfort from past experience. If you have any eye on 18 which is certainly more sporty than 17 and nearer to 19 especially for some rim design, it would be in fact a better option and you can keep to 235mm width instead of 225mm for your more powerful 2.5 .. 19" tyres are limited in choice for comfort type and jumps up in price. Cheers. Richard

I guess won't know unless tried...
richard_crl032 6th Gear November 16, 2018 Share November 16, 2018 How much is artex installation?Hi Roger, Someone mentioned 30/door for workmanship with own purchased Artex Red Wind at 70 feom online shop which I am not sure includes shipping. I have no wish to wait and mine with Artex red wind and installation is a packaged deal together with removal of stock car cam and installation of new thinkware f770 that I purchased .. about 300 in total. This stock car cam is ridiculous cos eurokar din change from previous pre FL without safety windscreen cam for assisted braking, lane departure etc. As a result the stock car cam is between the rear view mirror and the pop up dash display which robs valuable front view estate of driver .. CO asked to change and I got the thinkware F770 cos newer F800 no longer has stealth wiring management. Cheers. Richard ↡ Advertisement
