For the GPS map permission, i never encounter this before.

My only question is the map version is 2017 Q4. According to Mazda, this is latest.

The latest map should be 2018 July version.

Hi Bro, is it typo?

Mine is also 2017Q4 June 2018 update. Just check like 2 days ago

Actually this is really confusing.

It said the software is uptodate at 2017Q4 however the map release shown June 2018 update is avail, and it prompted me at the place to either buy or redeem via code.

I thought I saw my version is 2017Q4 June 2018 update...

Hmmm let me check again whether it is June 2018 update available or already have June 2018 update of the 2017Q4 release, as the toolbox did state no update available....

Find the key too slim for me personally.

Bought a alloy casing to make it more chuck to hold, many would like it light and slick, but that just me....

Click on Update and it say no update all available update are installed on the device

Another way to interpret (maybe wrong)

Device version is 2017Q4 and the latest map is June 2018, this is the latest versioning available

When click update, it check that against what is in SD Card and see whether the update is needed.

So it is a matter of poor information presentation, if its what I think it is.

Bro S2s1, when did your collected your car? recently as well? just to time check

Regards

The main bummer is that Mazda makes the keys for all their cars the same, across their entire range.

During a family gathering I made the smart decision to just keep my stuff in my pocket (even if it makes for slightly less comfortable sitting). In the end 2 of my relatives (who both drive Mz3) got confused as to whose key it was because they placed their keys (along with everyone else's) on the cabinet next to the dining area. Their Mz3 keys look IDENTICAL to my Mz6 key.

Luckily, they parked fairly close to each other so it wasn't difficult.

At least Kia makes the key for the Stinger different from the others... But that one is their Halo product, so we're not comparing apples with apples also...

Have read that quite a number of fellow M6 owners are using Amon 2652 rubber seal. Other than this seal, would you all recommend other seal by Amon?

Thank you!

Thank you for checking again. It is exactly what I see. But when you go to the map portion, south Asia, it did show the map version at 2018 June and ask if we wan to update by code or purchase 1yr or 3 yrs subscription.

Yes, if click on map button.

But update shows up to date.

Either it’s just poor presentation design or it really is some issue that the update didn’t detect to update.

But seems like bro S2s1 can install , so asking him when he got his car if his is much earlier then it may be what I Guess, but if his is also recent then perhaps there is more then meets The Eye....

Else 3 to 6 months later check again...Guess it an annual update don’t think it’s a frequent update and we supposed to have a year free update

The latest map was released last June. I think your car last update was 2017 Q4, not this latest map.

hihi

can i check how can the map be updated? Mazda CSO told me i had to head down to the service centre to do so.

Hi bros, today just changed out my existing Turanza T001 225/45/19 (stock tyres for 2.5 Mazda). Run in period only about 10 months, 10k. Good condition still. Lelong sales for those who needs a second hand tyre of this profile. Please PM me! Cheers!

I have just rotate and swap both the front and back tyre. However notice that there is a slight haming noise at one of the front tyre. Is this normal and what could be the cause for this.

Hi Pass,

Normal for tyres to be slightly more noisy after your rotate since the idea for rotating is for durability to balance out the wear.

Try to run the palm of your hands on the noisy front tyre to feel if wavy or see if any obvious uneven wear which bad dampers and non aligned rear can cause it respectively.

Dun know how old your car and tyres as well as if your rear had been done alignment ....

Cheers,

Richard

hihi

can i check how can the map be updated? Mazda CSO told me i had to head down to the service centre to do so.

When I collected my ride last March, my SE told me the updating of map can be done ourselves but I never tried it.  Got a call from Mazda a few days ago informing me that my free 1 time update will expire in a month's time and request me to go to their service centre for the update. Since my work place is not far from 1 of the 3 service centres, will be going there next week and let them do it.
