Sopskysalat 4th Gear February 18, 2019 Share February 18, 2019 That's why stating FC figure and average trip speed provide better picture than stating xx:yy city:highway Think its main due to more city drive, and city drive is always jam can have big impact versus rather smooth city drive but not as free flowing on highway...as FC is a measure of distance covered by unit fuel, any 0 distance with fuel consumption kills FC....so duration of that has great impact, regardless of how modern the engine maybe (just more or less impact) my 2 cents ↡ Advertisement
boonhat_91 6th Gear February 18, 2019 Share February 18, 2019 I suspect the wife might not describe the acceleration as "awesome" hahaha You should've "psycho-ed" your wife to get the Stinger. Tell her with Stinger the tail is pretty much the same as the Mazda 6 wagon, with added electric tailgate function, and much much more power to boot. You can then surprise her with the awesome acceleration when you merge onto the highway...

I must also mention that she drove an E200k and now a NX200T, so she does not think much about Korean cars. I have also used up my "I paid deposit" card when I bought my Alfa last time, so now all the cars are under her name :(

Before signing on the dotted line, another couple at showroom were deciding between std and exec. Asked me what was the main reason to opt for exec. I quoted two: keyless entry and memory seats. To me the executive selling points:- keyless - HUD - blind spot detection - bose Too bad... I got standard only.
Kenomi 2nd Gear February 18, 2019 Share February 18, 2019 Main deal breaker should be the halogen drl. It reminds me of jetta drl for the standard version.

boonhat_91 6th Gear February 18, 2019 Share February 18, 2019 if I may say, Mz6 also seems a bit below your league man haha Well, I tried but she did not even want to visit the showroom because of the badge. I have to say I really like my M6 wagon, drives well and the soul red paint pops under light. the soul red is a custom color and in order to have that mfg in malaysia, the setup cost is 20 million ringette. So soul red is actually a heavily discounted car from that point of view
tcmean Neutral Newbie February 19, 2019 Share February 19, 2019 Main deal breaker should be the halogen drl. It reminds me of jetta drl for the standard version. Even the tail light design is different when lighted up between standard and executive. I believe even the sales don't know about it.

HUD and blind spot are very very useful features as well. Memory seat is a requirement for me as I often switch drivers. But if only one driver, I think memory set is not needed. Standard has memory seat also. To me the executive selling points: - keyless - HUD - blind spot detection - bose Too bad... I got standard only. All these features are nice to have but not need to have so if you can save the money it is good.

Personally I feel yellow DRL mix with LED head lamps is unique. Maybe I have weird taste. ↡ Advertisement
