Mazda claimed that they adopted extensive sound proofing aboard 2017 Mazda 6, as noisiness had been one of its weaknesses in past models compared with the like of Camry in the same category. Has anybody compared earlier models and current model of Mazda 6, and could attest to the proclaimed improvement in noise insulation?

I wonder why Mazda would not do something about the height of its transmission tunnel in Mazda 6, where the high hump makes it awkward and uncomfortable for a passenger sitting in the rear centre seat. Not sure if this is a trade-off for it to be a driver's car.

The transmission tunnel is there because there is an all wheel drive version in some countries

No wonder. The high transmission tunnel was a minus point for Mazda 6 when I was shopping around for a mid-size sedan, though I eventually went ahead with it for its other pros such as FC, safety features and interior trim which I found class-leading. For now, the hump is doubled up as a bench on which my toddler likes to straddle over for a little rest before I start the car.

Smart City Braking System.[sCBS]....yes,only 2.5 Lux got....i would prefer the MRCC,Mazda Radar Cruise Control, but LTA won't approved it.

LTA wont approve it?  There are cars with radar cruise control on the roads.  Is it Mazda's particular implementation that wasn't approved?

Try posting a superb review of your Mazda and their service on their Facebook and highlight your desire for Brila coating, they may out of goodwill just decide to give you for free as a reward, my SE said. Don't look for me if they don't ;)

your best chance is to buy from new owner who doesnt like the 19" or decided to change rim.

Just wondering will there be great difference in terms of FC and performance from 17" to 19"

I'm on the original 19 inch rims that came with the car. Getting about 8.1 litres per 100km without trying to save fuel. How much better can it be on 17 inch?

Mazda 6 size looks better with 19 inch rims in my opinion. So go with the heart. After all, we already paid so much for the car

For Mazda 6 2.0L with the 17" stock wheels and tyres, there are 2 recommended options for tyre pressure depending on the load. I'm mostly driving with 2 adults and 2 kids, i.e. equivalence of 3 adults in the car, though a couple of times a week I may have full load in the car. Hence, I wonder what should then be the tyre pressure I should maintain. Currently, I pump 250kPa on all tyres as an intermediate. What about you guys?
