Karoon Turbocharged November 21, 2016 Share November 21, 2016 Its not too bad i guess. Nothing different from the past. An ordinary 6.5/10 debut. They're lucky the US audience would laugh at anything. ↡ Advertisement
mersaylee Hypersonic November 21, 2016 Share November 21, 2016 Watched some of it but couldn't stand the audio...was it because the original content was in 4k that the audio seemed very metallic? The audience probably were paid as extras ... A new lease on life nonetheless.
Adrianli Hypersonic November 21, 2016 Share November 21, 2016 (edited) Where to find? Google "The Grand Tour season 1 episode 1" there are sites to download. Adrianli Hypersonic November 22, 2016 Share November 22, 2016 Watched it last nite. They took lots of dig at the old Top Gear show n BBC. The show was great, knn they killed all the guest that supposed to attend their celebrities conversation. The test track that looks like the ebola virus. Didnt know sheep's balls that big. Stratovarius Turbocharged November 23, 2016 Share November 23, 2016 Managed to watch it last night. Honestly, it is only okay for me. Spoilers. The not so good: 1 - Too top gearly. Not that it not good, I was expecting different things. 2 - The part where all the celebrities are killed is kind of unnecessary and too staged. "Jeremy Renner" part is quite funny but the other 2 is quite awkward. 3 - Same for the RAF part. Prefer them to sit around and talk about how useless the Ferrari is. Especially where they compare the fuel efficiency between the Porsche and McLaren. Jezza's expression really made me lol. Overall 8/10 for me. Hope that the grand tour can make a stop in Sg in the future.
mersaylee Hypersonic November 23, 2016 Share November 23, 2016 Same thought...Our tourism board can invite them to set up the tent at padang and span over 3 days hopefully coincide with car free Sunday in the city. That way the traffic on the backdrop can showcase peak, off peak and pedestrians, bicycles, scooters etc...carnival like. Then the trio can talk about our car systems here...ERP, COE, prices of BnB cars like cherry QQ... The word silly or stupid may appear 99 times in that segment though. Who needs F1 to put THE Red dot on the world map?
Lala81 Hypersonic November 23, 2016 Share November 23, 2016 I thought it was good but not great. Some of their jokes are lost on the Americans. The royal air force and the celebrity thing was pretty boh liao
Lala81 Hypersonic December 8, 2016 Share December 8, 2016 After watching all 3 episodes, feel that they are getting a bit stale on their road trips. The 2nd episode was mostly rubbish. Their banter in the tent is still good. Get the sense they are sticking to the formula rather than just being their crazy selves.

1fast1 Supersonic June 11, 2017 Share June 11, 2017 (edited) Former Top Gear host Richard Hammond is airlifted to hospital after flipping £2million supercar in horror crash during filming of Amazon show. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4591508/Richard-Hammond-airlifted-hospital-horror-crash.html Very sad. Hamster just doesn't have "the luck" with these cars. That having been said, this new driving display was not carried out in a safe way. When one is driving a new hypercar, one should always do it in a closed course with plenty of safe run off and very few things to hit, fall into or fall off of. Until one is absolutely confident with its behaviour at the limit, the car should be explored and tamed in a safe arena. Not like this. That said, I hope he recovers fully. He really does have 9 lives but he should stop taxing his guardian angel so much. He was clearly already changed in his mannerisms after the first big one, and you didn't need to be a neurologist to notice. His daughters are really cute, especially the girl in the white top. Also, I deplore some of the tasteless and callous comments on daily mail, seems they're just not car people. DACH Supersonic March 26, 2018 Share March 26, 2018 The Stig Sets World Speed Record In A Tractorhttps://carbuzz.com/news/the-stig-sets-world-speed-record-in-a-tractor https://youtu.be/CP74MVkLlXs Oh that funny Stig fellow is at it again! We’re all used to seeing Top Gear’s man in white setting fast times in high-speed machinery, but for the latest episode, The Stig is behind the wheel of a custom built Track-tor that has been certified as the Fastest Tractor by Guinness World Records. It wasn’t quite fast enough to activate the flux capacitor and send it back to 1956, but 87.2 mph still beats the previous record set by a Finnish tractor back in 2015 by almost 7 mph. Now, this was no ordinary Porsche or Lamborghini tractor, no sir. This tractor required all the wits and creativity and engineering skills of the Top Gear crew, with the avid cheerleading of tractor enthusiast Matt LeBlanc. Turns out he’s the proud owner of four of the agricultural workhorses - no word on whether he’s a hobby farmer or just drives around in them to visit his friends. This rig was professionally kitted out at the so-called Top Gear Agricultural Technology Centre (we're sure there’s plenty of fertilizer slung there), stuffing a 5.7L Chevy V8 under the ‘bonnet’ (is it still called a bonnet on a tractor?) and pumped up to 500 hp, tricked out with air suspension and 54-inch tires. And in a nod to the show’s tradition of feigned goofiness, they’ve also installed a barometer, spade rack, a Wellington boot, and a spinner boot brush (apparently a toilet brush fixed to a drill). Top Gear’s Twitter feed has plenty of clips from the upcoming show, which airs March 28, 2018. Matt LeBlanc and Chris Harris will try to break the record The Stig has set, and their success or failure will be aired in the upcoming show, but they’ll also put the ‘Track-tor’ through its paces with a highway run, a hedge-trimming contest versus Farmer of the Year, and a “frozen vegetable challenge”, whatever that may be, and of course there will be antics. Many many antics. ↡ Advertisement
