I've top up 7K and done the pre-order for the new Avante which will be coming around May/Jun but not yet confirm. But this pre-launch Avante confirm no GPS, no Bluetooth, digital controls for AC is still a question mark. and many other more are still question mark. they still can't confirm with the arrival date to SG and the spec. anyway, noob like me have made the order. :) as usual, AD brings in the basic model and then remove more of these basic features. why can't they bring in the full spec??? if kia and chevy can do it, why they can't....btw: how many airbags are there? dun tell me only 2 hor.... Maybe the higher spec will have 6 but i don't they will do so for the base spec as they want to keep the price down... I saw the AVante in KL motorshow last year... Overall is quite impressive in terms of the overall fit and finish, probably best in class... The door panel uses a mix of 5 materials, the darker top end uses soft plastic, the middle part is the texture same as the seat, the arm rest uses padded material, the door handle is blushed alumunium and the bottom part is hard plastic. The material used on the dashboard is very rich as well, with piano black trim, aluminium and silver trim, soft and hard plastics.
