those that came with spares, i took them out.

to me it's just additional weight.

Will you change your own tyres in under the hot sun??? I had damaged 2 tyres by running spareless...call the tow truck is the best.

Do you mean the bottle of liquid sealant?

 

I used it within the first few months after getting may car.

For the seperate sealant and compressor type:

1- unscrew valve stem from tyre valve

2- connect sealant bottle to valve and empty sealant to tyre

3-inflate tyre

4- drive slowly for short distance and check, reinflate if needed.

5- go to tyre shop

 

And cant get original replacement. So the next best is to put additional bottles of the green Slime tyre sealants.

 

My TPMS was installed after this incident, I am concern that the sealant may damage the sensors in the tyre.

this kit is a temporary measure, you still to get it repaired properly by the expert.

otherwise you do not kown exactly what happened inside and your tyre is carrying those liquid which will cause unbalanced and may corrode your wheel well too

it is every onus on the seller to put the spare tire back when selling the car.....of course some cars come with tire repair kits

Sport car owner got money and time to solve the flat tyre problem ma.

when they got flat tyre they just leave the car there(call service provider) used alternate transport to carry on his journey.

Most people do not have this kind of backup.

Yes...if i dont drive to Thailand...btw all BMWs have no spare, they come with runflats fitted as stock...even the boot have no space to fit a spare...
