also, it was a 2 min "journey" to send my gf up to her place.

 

if you are really paranoid about someone doing bad things to your car...

have you heard of viper alarm before? not sure whether now still got sell or not.

it can sense someone close and then activate the sound module something like 'viper armed'...unsuspecting people will get a shock for awhile.

at least it sounds better than the irritating alarm...but will piss people off as well when they just walked past your car unknowingly.

from what i think, actually the headlights and exhaust are just side dish. the person is just damn pissed off with your alarm going off at night 10pm++????!!?

and i think the person who lodged the complaint are not the same people who you 'caught' standing close to your car. it might just be someone dozing off and got woke up by your alarm.

living in hdb means you are now living among all sorts of people, some are ok, some are not.

to you, the complainant is a bad sleeper and should sound proof his house, you are just sounding the alarm to prevent 'harm' to your car.

to him, you are the irritant disturbing the peace with your alarm, he probably doesn't know you are sounding the alarm to fend off the 'suspects'.

so you see the both side of coin now?

very easy. fight the case with LTA and says all these accusation are nonesense and fight it till you see the informer.

From there, u will get to know who is he/she.

I got some visual minor mods but they passed me in March but they do warned me I could be held for reinspection if Im caught on the roads or someone complaint. Ive since took them out, take care bro.

Anyway, LTA cert don't mean anything. One can just take out the mods, go for inspection and after that install back the illegal mods.

LTA or tp can just stop u and ask u go to lane 8. They dont care what papers you have. Thats what happened to me few months back. They merely used the word, i suspect you mod this....that.... no need argue, just follow

You will be surprise they could have all the video or pictures of your illegal mods in their comp when you turn up at their counter. That happens to my fren few months back, they haunt the MSCPs when you are sleeping.

having gone for inspection at vicom/sta/jic prior to love letter from LTA don't count for anything. when u receive the love letter, u still have to go down to 'lane 8' to have ur vehicle reinspected for their pleasure. do u have aftermarket HID/xenon headlights or aftermarket exhaust without cert? any upsize turbo or aftermarket downpipe,decat, failed tinting, daylight LED, tinted taillights, protruding carnards or gt-wing?

 

the guy/gal in question that is piss with ur antics just want to warn u. and if u still persist, he/she will submit complain letter to LTA (hoping that u have some illegal mods that would fault u, but all along he/she is just piss bout ur alarm antics or loud exhaust antics). call it green eye or watever, but once u receive the letter,no point showing ur "i just pass inspection 2 wks ago" cert, u still have to be subjected to a more through inspection by ROV.
