im always in my car in the waiting area. only go up less than 2 mins to send my gf up.

 

and for the alarm, if there are idoits eyeing your car and from a distance u can see them making "advances" would u just let them get close? or sound your alarm as a deterrence?

 

why would people eye your car and make advances?

I mean what do you expect them to do? scratch it?

perhaps you a bit too sensitive.

People just curious to look at your car.

 

If your car is very loud looking, it will catch the attention of people (thats what you want isnt it?)

Next time you go there, just off your car and dont rev so much. it's very irritating.

Also cut off the alarm please, nobody will be bothered with your car.

Actually those living on the upper floors of an apartment will bear the brunt of noises created on the street level. My neighbour on the 2nd floor says that he hardly hears pple playing in the park opposite our block while me and my neighbour on the 7th floor will swear that the noise from the park is disturbing our sleep even if it is just 2 pple having a slightly noisy discussion!

I think that putting alarm is fine. But if the alarm is too sensitive and warn ppl near it. It is quite irritative. Unless you park on your own private car park with no car beside you. If your car happens to be in M'sia, you may see your car dented with leg kick. No even talking about scratch. Too much of worry and protection, you may end up getting hurt.

I don't think you need such sensitive alarm in singapore. Better disable it before it irritates even more people.

if you are really paranoid about someone doing bad things to your car...

have you heard of viper alarm before? not sure whether now still got sell or not.

it can sense someone close and then activate the sound module something like 'viper armed'...unsuspecting people will get a shock for awhile.

at least it sounds better than the irritating alarm...but will piss people off as well when they just walked past your car unknowingly.

from what i think, actually the headlights and exhaust are just side dish. the person is just damn pissed off with your alarm going off at night 10pm++????!!?

and i think the person who lodged the complaint are not the same people who you 'caught' standing close to your car. it might just be someone dozing off and got woke up by your alarm.

 

I wil also b damm pissed if always got car alarm go off below my block.
