Long story short. I had a confrontation with a fellow TD just now. Then I realise he smell of alcohol. So I call police and the TP arrested him. License sure revoke. Then some fellow TD who are around says I went over board. We are all fellow TD so must give chance. Now his rice bowl broken. So do you guys think I am wrong? Personally I hate people who drink and drive. Very irresponsible. Somemore a TD if drink and drive is also endangering lives of the pax.

I support you. Tough job. Somebody has to do it. To eat rice, one has to be alive first, and drink driving will get him killed sooner or later. Think of it as you saved his life. Have a good night sleep. [:)]

I think you should have give chance. But there's no point regretting. you could end up saving his life, just like what jim had said.

Do you think you will forgive someone who drinks and drive and end up killing someone who is innocent? especially the innocent one is someone who you is related to you? [knife]

Wrong ? No...u should tell the cops to inform DPP to seek judge's endorsement to rotan his arse besides jail time ! This kind of irresponsible fella cannot give chance one....Now his friends all act and talk + support him like heroes....when their loved one kena langar by a drunk driver....see if they can sing the same tune again...

if that TD regard it as his ricebowl, he should be responsible enough to protect his ricebowl by not doing stupid thing.

worse if the TD involve in accident with injuries to another party, do you think the other party can claim the TD insurance company?

Insurance company will gladly throw away the case and ask the injured party to bring civil suit to the TD who may in the end get nothing if the TD is broke.

Dont dwell on it too much. He should know better himself if he is responsible enough. Those that says give chance obvious are too "kind". There are certain situation where second chance shall never be given and unfortunately, this is one of them.

If the argument is on the expressway and the police came to the expressway, then it might game over.

 

If the argument is in a carpark or at some coffeeshop and the police came there, then nothing will happen to the drunk man.

 

However, since such cases are not dealt with immediately....there is a window of opportunity for the TD to sabo TS back.

Funny thing, if he care about his rice bowl, why drink and drive in the first place

The TD is sure irresponsible to drink on duty. Its truly is a dilemma, there are plenty of options. Though deserving I would have ask him off his cab to sober up., if refuse tell those fellow TD, if refuse call cab co, if still refuse puncture his tires :D :D
