Felipe 3rd Gear September 16, 2011 Share September 16, 2011 The shot in the dark is incredible, it's not as if he connected with the ball with this shin/thigh or some other part of his body, he kicked it with his instep, ie. a legitimate strike. but i thought the ball fed to Ronald was a bit too high. the ones fed to Ronaldo seem to be a bit easier to connect, with/without light. no denying Ronaldo's ability though. Meanmachine 6th Gear September 16, 2011 Share September 16, 2011 THe video test was fantastic, based on news report, one get a twist out of it, but seeing is believing, how they tested Ron to the limit, I mean everyf'ballers are good, if not better, no disrespect that every fans has their idols, I do have mine in Ryan G..g, Ron was another, he's a diff class of his own, and I'm impressed by his techniques and ball skills. Dun really think he is overated or otherwise, juz pure skills + ability on trickery. When he smashes the ball thru 3 panel of glasses, one can witness the G-forces that shattered the second glass even before it hit the 3rd glass, mental ability and alignment. We look at free-kick specialists like Beck, Ron, Ronaldo, Lampard and Luka Modric, all of them have the right techniques of feint body weight vs power, strength and deftness of scoping the ball of and slight sway of foot causes the ball to go right/left. MOst times, G/K were caught flat-footed. World Cup? Euro? flop big time He is just a bully who only can score against weak teams.
