Actually the best selling model for CAT A was the TAXI! haha...

Anyway I can tell you that the Mercedes C180K is the No.2 best selling model among CAT A models...regardless of body type (hatchback, sedan, suv, mpv..)

Maybe.

All I'm basing my "sales figures" on is really on the number of that particular car I see on the roads.

There's no doubt I'm seeing more facelift C-Class on the road.

But for now, it's still the Elantra that's hugely popular.

VW free ten years road tax might have lots of orders.

I think the biddings will stabilize till year end.

When bonus comes.....there will be a mad rush again for the CNY show off event.

I apologize if I'm just basing the top sellers not on the number of registrations, but rather based on the true number of that particular model I see on the roads.

That's the way I see it.

Neutral Newbie

Are you sure? The last I checked, the C180BE is a 1.6Turbocharged, for Mercedes has scrapped the supercharger.

I know there was once they sold the C180K as a 1.6Supercharger, then it was quickly replaced with the turbocharger.

Anyways, even MB Germany don't have the 1.6Turbocharged engine.

Of course the C180K is their best selling model, because it's the entry-level. But the pre-facelift C200K isn't doing worse in its sales too.

And the C300 is a 3.0V6 231bhp at least for our local context.

There are 3 variants to the C180: the 1.8l kompressor which is supercharged, the C180 CGI which is 1.8l turbocharged and the current C180BE which is 1.6l supercharged.

Sure, CAT A also has competitions from the Citroen C5, Peugeot 508, Volvo S60, V60 and S80, but really, they're selling in minute units. They don't hold a candle compared to the Hyundai Elantra and VW Jetta.

Just the Hyundai Elantra alone I think has beaten the combined sales of the C5, 508 and S60 [sedan VS Sedan].

Slow today.

Let's hope the computer n Internet of banks do no crash today.

Else we may get $1 if last minute bidding cause the network to crash.

A repeat of last week's OCBC fiasco? [:p]
