Thats why for AP I prefer the Royal Oak (non offshore) and the Rosegold Rubber clad offshore. And yes, the rosegold rubber clad is indeed pretty enticing. i like that one for a few reasons. 1. tough enough to thrash around, understated look with rubber strap makes a very cool combo 2. rosegold! 3. classic offshore design, not the b-------t limited edition crap made to trick the market. I hate it when the company tries to come up with all the gimmicks. Rolex also seem to be heading that way so i only buy old models. even cigars too. last time limited edition cigars really solid, one year only once. nowadays anyhow choot limited edition, almost every thing is limited edition. Hi Bro, watches somehow or another hold it's value, bought and sold a few in the past 3 years, at least 15% ROI. Hate to buy cars which are a moneypit, especially brand new continental cars. I'm not a watch dealer like Kenneth. Used to own a RG Rubberclad but sold it to someone who really wanted it. Pity though as it was a really nice piece but a tad too small for my wrist.
