Sabbie Clutched December 24, 2011 Share December 24, 2011 it was to commemorate 50th anniversary tha they use. diff color bezel. everything is basically still the same. it would of course be limited base on that. until it became regular production. however the actual 50th yr batch serial would be limited. at least there was good reason to commemorate. Ic ic, hmmm, when was the 50th year? Was it 2007? So should find one made in that year?
Sabbie Clutched December 24, 2011 Share December 24, 2011 Ooohhh sub lv ah, that one nice but i am keen into LV watches as not many ppl wearing it unlike rolex, so common End of the day, the watch should be appreciated by the wearer and buyer, so just buy whatever you like
Duckduck Turbocharged December 24, 2011 Share December 24, 2011 that is called true rare and vintage not purposely produce 500 and call it limited edition to raise the price and create a demand. in otherwords marketing gimmick. thats also why i dont take to AP too much. they love to do that, way way too often. to me, i feel it loses its true value. i hope rolex doesnt go that way. these are the same opinions i express on other watch forum i've posted its same as collecting high value art. Very illiquid coz not many buyers, but becoz of small mkt, price can get super high due transactions being so far apart. Having siad that, this type of asset may not move for a very long time before being able to realize any gains. But if u get a gem, they do protect from inflation, whihc is better than cash returns

Josho 1st Gear December 24, 2011 Share December 24, 2011 Definitely a thread that let people feel poison on these watches. =) I do not own such a high range watch, but I enjoy looking at them. =) I guess I learn a lot on this thread about Rolex. T711 1st Gear December 24, 2011 Share December 24, 2011 Thanks Bro, the AP's to me are more of a personal reminder of what I have been through to get to where I am now. Some may like it, some may not, watches are all personal preference. The one thing I can say is that by wearing a certain AP, it has got me noticed and invited to special events which I would not have otherwise been invited too. Amazing that a watch can open doors for you

Gorgeous ah pek look...silver with white face.
