what i meant is that the blue lume goes well with the blue sub.

however, only the Sub LV comes in green lume(iirc) which makes it more special that goes well with it's dial colour too.

Sub c lv comes in blue lume. 116610lv is blue lume....

It can be had for low $5k easily.

but I want it without the brace so I'm targeting around $4500.

I'm only buying the watch just to play play, add rubber strap , change to leather. thrash around.

dont want to pay too much.

Actually you should buy the complete set and sell off the bracelet, the bracelet should be about 300-500 if sold separately.

Yes, but sibei troublesome so always end up keeping the useless bracelet in my drawer.

So I prefer to buy head only, if possible.

But I know it may not be so easy.

Not easy, probably only shops would sell like that cause they have a steady stream of buyers who will maybe do a bracelet change, but you ain't gonna get it at that price.

Easier to just keep it in your drawer and when you are sick of the watch and want to resell, put the bracelet back on and sell together. Fetches alot more also.

If green sub is for malays, I must have been born to the wrong parents.... [laugh]

Sabbie, you are a joke la.... Listen to all these nonsense...

Pinhole rolexes worth less because their value was less as the list price was lower! Not because of pinhole alone, but if you have a super vintage tritium dial rolex, it is worth hell more than modern now, and it has pinholes.

In fact the clasp is not solid, it is put together with sheet metal bent together to form the links! Hollow inside.... Which is why the old Rolexes tend to stretch until it becomes very lose and the gaps in the bracelet becomes huge!

Rolex is a little light in weight and small.

Was offered 11K ++ for Hulk, good buy?

New or 2nd hand? Local or overseas set? Full box and papers?

hahaha, I had to listen because I was there looking at the watch, whether I believe or not is another story, anyway after he tell me this the more I don't wanna buy from him because I felt it was abit of BS....since you so into rolex tell me which model to buy that can give me a 50% ROI ten years later.

He probably wanted to lowball your watch so give you the b-------t about the pinhole cause yours is with pinhole.

For the green sub c, either he don't have, reserving for his regulars or he don't think you will afford it so give you b-------t about green sub being meant for malays.
