I know. Just teasing.

When you have driven S class, A8 and about to buy Evoque, why settle for a problemobox like Alfalfa grass? [laugh]

I am still a fan of Alfa though, too bad I cannot afford the 159 and can only get the Jetta Sports, however, my 159 fren jio-ed me and we had a frenly race and I smoked him....hehehe....but now he did a piggyback, tuned his suspension and changed tyres.....not sure if can still smoke him or not...

I thought you are not into APs?

I dont like AP's strategy of commemorating just about every event and making it limited edition.

mostly for it's offshore range. Becos that to me is a trend/fad.

Otherwise AP normal watches are very acceptable to me. Just like all other good watch makers.

I also dont like Rolex's new range of designs that departs too far from the original.

but I can accept the new GMT2c.

bottom line, I am not into any brand but may have preferences for some makes and particular models

so, you thought wrong, yet again.

how to idolise me, like that?

AP dual time is a nice watch. get it in RG with the black face. abit small for me though

yup it's pretty nice.

I would like it exactly in RG and black face.

39 or 40 mm is great for me.

but I am unsure of how tough an AP is.

I am generally quite rough with my watches and concern if I buy AP, after a while the watch koyak.

My friend bought an offshore and within 2 yrs the watch koyak and he is not even a rough user.

how much is it now by the way?

I will consider...thanks

No such thing as high time get this or that.

AP is just another good watch brand.

i get what i see is nice and cool.

not influenced by what is worned on the wrist of the next guy.

i've always created my own trend, never followed, as long as i can remember.

as with Rolex, it has always been a dime a dozen for the man in the street.

and i am just a man in the street, no need to pretend that i am otherwise.

but be it a Rolex, AP, Patek Lange, Vacheron, Tag, Casio, seiko, or seagull, i will still be able to wear it proudly if i choose to.

becos i am my own man.

so perhaps one thing you should really learn from me is this.

[cool]

AP's are pretty ok but for rough use, I would not recommend using the dual time. the bezel does get scratched and dinged easily. Perhaps get something in a ceramic or rubber bezel. The new diver released recently is nice, comes in carbon with a ceramic bezel.

I almost got an RM recently but decided not too as I heard the brand had some issues with it's local servicing and warranty. Certain RM's get break down 3 or 4 times a year!

if i buy dual time, i wont rough use it, becos it is gold.

but need to know that it can run for many years without servicing.

like m Rolexes. super hardy and always reliable.

as mentione , my friends AP offshore broke down within 2 year, i lost some confidence in AP

Can anyone recommend a reasonable priced watch winder? I'm looking for a 3 watch winder with settable TPB/direction and individual rotor for each watch.

Budget around $500 have?
