Bus hits 7 bikes on AYE

I travelled the road quite frequently, there are bikers who really stopped at exactly that spot because they want to wait till the ERP is over.

So more often than not, the cars in that lane 5 has to shift abit to the right eating into lane 4 so as to avoid hitting the bikes.

2. for motorcycle

3. for buses

4. for taxi

5. for lorries

6. for vehicles below 2000cc

7. for vehicles above 2000cc

This is just before Sheares Bridge coz can see the Flyer at the background. The road shoulder is only like a foot or foot and a half wide only. No shelter further up for motorcyclists to put on raincoat. Unless exit Fort Road to take shelter under the flyover.

yup this should be ECP towards Changi just beside MBS. Happened yest morning, I was driving at the opp side

ya that nite gana one...prc woman..damn...was wondering y the bus in front of me swerved to its right..then seconds later..i got the answer....nabehz...if bus bang into her..good luck to her...but that would mean i would have banged into the bus...if i was not alert [knife]

i asked someone before why they do that, going against traffic.

they say so that they can see in coming vehicles more clearly. lol [:p][laugh]:D

Agree. Many cyclists have identity crisis. They want to behave both as a motorist and a pedestrain...and want to enjoy the best of both worlds. Many times, they travel on the road only to abruptly switch to pedestrain crossings or even the pavements as the traffic change in their favour. This often caught motorists off guard and they had to e-brake or make evasive actions.

so best is to go install a car cam...if they beat red light..just whack them..then produce vids as evidence...they can die for all i care if they cant learn to ride responsibly

It looked like the m/cycles were parked on the lane! They were asking for trouble!:(

The 2 standing on the white line were safe!

It's difficult to understand how such accident happened especially when there is a visible group of bikes.

It is even more difficult to understand how with picture given in post #1, turbocharged members can still asked "isit motorbike or bicycle?" in post #2 and "Why was the bus driving in the road shoulder?" in post #3. [smash] [smash] [smash]
