plastic

matt finish, so would still be outstanding. original part, with decal still on it, as you can see. trust me, it cost close to nothing but sure make your car looks much better, what a Porsche should look in the first place, out from the factory.

Honestly its the trouble and the downtime which makes me sian.

If Mike can install for me immediately within 2 hours, that would be great.

But Still prefer the carbon fiber one which will match my mirrors.

You think 2hrs flat possible?

Actually its not that difficult if experience installer uses a stencil cut out.

Thanks for your poison, mate

by the way, why the hurry? I cant say for sure how long it would take to install the grill but manage your day's program properly I'm sure it would be better than rushing the installer to have it done in 2 hours only to find a half ass job gone wrong.

not that I'm pushing it but styling wise, I think the grill is a must have. the bumper somewhat looks weird without it. but then again, this is my own opinion.

fitment wise, the original ABS is more flexible than the carbon, thus provides a much better fit. having said that, the carbon will definitely match your mirror inserts. this boils down to whether you want the original look or after market bling look.

Definitely agree with you on the looks part.

Adds a bit of aggression with the grill.

The hurry thing has to do with my character.

I dont like waiting for most things if i can help it.

As mentioned my stance on mods, so its a nice to have, but not on top of my must do list.

Eventually........i guess.

Will give you a buzz when i finally do....

Thanks for remembering me.

This car was registered in 1986.

According to wikipedia, "In 1988, Porsche introduced the Turbo S. The 944 Turbo S had a more powerful engine (designation number M44/52) with 247 hp (184 kW) and 258 lb·ft (350 N·m) torque (standard 944 Turbo 217 hp (162 kW) and 243 lb·ft (329 N·m))."

Therefore it must be a regular turbo since it predates the earliest 944 Turbo S

http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=236549&DL=2409

Can anyone identify if this is the Turbo or Turbo S?

It is listed as a Turbo but the hp is listed as 250.

From Wiki, these are the respective specs:

Turbo: 217 bhp (162 kW), 243 lb·ft (330 N·m)

Turbo S: 247 hp (184 kW), 258 lb·ft (350 N·m)

Thanks!

Throttle2, why don't buy that 944? (I was kinda checking out the ad, 944s are cool)

RS60 - Was looking at those too (there were 3 on sgcarmart) but I'm taking the general advice to skip the pre-2009 boxsters and caymans to avoid the potential IMS issues.

Anyways after looking around the market I decided that I don't have to switch cars just yet, so that's idea has been relegated although I occasionally just browse through the ads to keep in touch for the day I do decide to switch.

I decided to buy a new motorbike instead [grin]
