It does not give the perception that you are old and matured, and yet it has sufficient presence. The new Maserati Ghibli is a possible alternative though. It received a favourable reivew on the Sunday Times yesterday. Since you are looking for sporty, a diesel panamera is not sporty at all (to me). To me, Panamera is for old & mature customer. Between a Panny and Ghibli, I'll take the Ghibli anytime partly also because of the 2+2+1 seating while the Panny is strictly 2+2. Needless to say, the exhaust note is to die for; the tearing throaty sound is incredible and I believe this is the non-S (?): Since you are looking for sporty, a diesel panamera is not sporty at all (to me).
