.... because I think it is the ideal sporty executive sedan to own. It does not give the perception that you are old and matured, and yet it has sufficient presence. The new Maserati Ghibli is a possible alternative though. It received a favourable reivew on the Sunday Times yesterday.

 

Since you are looking for sporty, a diesel panamera is not sporty at all (to me).

 

To me, Panamera is for old & mature customer. Young or Young @ heart drives 911.

 

At least Ghibli does not give me that feeling it is for old & mature.

I agree. Between a Panny and Ghibli, I'll take the Ghibli anytime partly also because of the 2+2+1 seating while the Panny is strictly 2+2.

 

Needless to say, the exhaust note is to die for; the tearing throaty sound is incredible and I believe this is the non-S (?):

hmmm...do you guys not feel that the Ghibli's behind looks....Jap?

saw the macan yesterday on d road. its really much smaller & lower than i thot... like some kinda slammed SUV lol... kinda weird but fun at the same time...
