Jman888 Moderator November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 the weather was really bad for outdoor activities these few days/week http://www.relax.com.sg/relax/media/140709...ck_in_rain.html Legoland rollercoaster stuck mid-air in rain(24875 views)1 of 57 Legoland Malaysia seems to have encountered another problem, this time with one of its roller coasters. On Nov 3, 2012, at around 5.10pm, a Stomp contributor said he lined up to try The Dragon roller coaster but, five minutes later, an announcement said that there was a technical fault and that rides for The Dragon would be stopped indefinitely. This was also at around the same time that it started raining heavily. The Stomp contributor said he, then, witnessed "a stranded roller coaster ride at the top of a slope" with riders still in it. "However to our relief, we saw technicians guiding passengers to safety via the emergency rescue platform." The rescue mission took 15 minutes and the Stomp contributor commended Legoland Malaysia staff for their efficiency. This is the second time Legoland Malaysia had a reported technical glitch about their rides. Previously a train had derailed at the theme park. Sga54g 1st Gear November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 Was at Legoland yesterday and while my kids were looking forward to take the Boat Ride that will slide down from a steep slope splashing (aka Dino Island), we saw the sign "closed for maintenance"! Then we realised the boat was stucked at the mouth of the top of the slope...
TVT Supercharged November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 the weather was really bad for outdoor activities these few days/week That is why its better to buy an annual pass....if any hicups (bad weather or broken down rides) can come another day to enjoy. Rustyz 5th Gear November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 there is something to cover the top.. like a board like that.... That is as good as saying here got no gold bar buried here. Best thing is don't bring it leave it at home or if need to use than bring it along when u leave ur car. Don't make ur car the chosen one as they may be interested to find out what is hidden below
Rustyz 5th Gear November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 Very easy, just bring a steering lock as a deterent. The theives see the lock wont bother to waste their time to break in. Steering wheel use a saw can saw it open and remove the lock within 2 min. I saw a video they say the foot brake lock is the best as the brake pedal is made of the strongest material. Thief also know how to calculate opportunity cost, if it is a exp car or has valuable that 2min maybe worth it

Only the valuables and passport...unless Legoland has a big locker box for us!!!

They are armed with all the necessary tools. But it can deter petty thief who are not so skillful, so they can only aim for items in the car by smashing the window, then grab and go! Darryn Turbocharged November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 Very easy, just bring a steering lock as a deterent. The theives see the lock wont bother to waste their time to break in. Exactly, you don't have to make the car safe or impregnable - just have to make it harder work to steal than the car next door. Is like the old joke, when escaping from a bear, I don't have to run faster than the bear, I only have to run faster than you.

TVT Supercharged November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 (edited) That why I suggest that a foot brake lock would be a better form of deterrence! Whatever lock is the same. I used a steering lock instead, as it is easily visible to the thief from outside so (hopefully) he will give my car a miss!
