Hmm.....i recommand go to Peperoni Pizzeria at Bukit Timah there. Pizza is nice, price wise average around 30+ per pax depending on what u order.

Ambience, its among the private houses so its quiet.

:)

Add in the Address and number for u :)

PEPERONI @ GREENWOOD

Address6 Greenwood Avenue, Hillcrest Park, Singapore 289195

Telephone(+65) 6465 6556

must drive here hor bro. dont forget. plus parking is a bitch after 7+. and make a reservation @ pepperonis .. always full!

which reminds me ... gf wants to go here this week for aglio olio ... better reserve!

I reach there at around 7, lucky got slot for parking. The place quite empty but mostly is reserved. So the staff ask if we are ok with having the dinner until 830 as its reserved after that.

So i guess its best u make reservations first else you may have time constraint. :)

My opinion is the taste of food is not important. Rather the ambience and accessibility to nearby park for quiet moment.

In for the long haul of course...so what is low keyed? Budget $60 per head is not posh right?

Anywhere quiet with decent food (no loud music ) should be enough.

U wouldn't want to appear too eager to please her at the same time.

No hawker /food court !

Take my recommendations lah. Won't burnt a hole in ur pocket in the Parco Caffee

Should u decide on the Sunset Bay, PM me if u need music.....I cycle there and serenade u both with my violin. FOC. [:)]

I don't understand about this "start simple or else they will expect too much" theory. Doesn't that mean in the long run also everyone will end up in restaurants all the time and cannot eat anywhere else? If you start at hawker centre on first date, then by 10th date your eat restaurant food doesn't mean cannot go back hawker centre on 11th date right?

If the girl is the fussy kind then why even consider any more dates? Next better player please. I've had awesome dates where the theme was "let's dress casual and go hawker centre stuff our faces with awesome hawker food until we can hardly walk" after that go for ice-cream and jalan jalan along the beach or something. It's what you make of it i guess.

But my main criteria is that the food must be good, not average. Then they eat also shiok, the face machiam having sex, especially if they have not tasted those dishes or style before.

Have. Sembawang Park. Very quiet and some areas very dark. Now under major renovation so its much much quieter.

Otherwise the Bottletree near Sembawang park, after meal at the chinese zhi char restaurant can walk 5km thru Simpang Kiri Park connector to Yishun Industrial Estate, there got another zhi char restaurant, Taste of Thailand. :D

haha, why cite me :D

end of the day, take it slow. the best of a relationship is the dating part, getting to know each other, wooing her and stuff.

it always excite me...

to be frank, if given a choice, i also wish to date gals forever..

Walk walk only. So crowded, if I recalled. I was roped in a few times as 'light bulb' for my auntie/uncles.

Kids were so easy to plse, those days......lollipop, icecream, etc....didn't knw that we were supposed to watch over them! [laugh]

Favourite venue for blind dates/matchmaking with entourage of chaperones.
