Hi @shorty,

I hv checked with my friend who stayed in Dorsett Wanchai in July 2017, she said she took a bus from Airport to Wanchai bus terminal around 11 stops and then take taxi from Wanchai bus terminal to the hotel.   She said the bus and the taxi fare is quite cheap and she has forgotten the fare and the bus number.  She will go back and check and let me know.

She also mentioned that the free shuttle bus provided by Dorsett Wanchai to Ocean Park is only available on Saturday and only one way and one bus only.

foreign food in australia usually own by the people from those country, hence they have wider range of real authentic food. Unlike here or even HK that F&B are just concepts operate by franchisee or wannabe   [sweatdrop]

oh oh...didnt know that. hehe.

yeah not gonna try to take the cheapest. rather going for convenience n experience. so thats y we want to try n take both the airport express n alphard. so on arrival, since not that tired yet, dont mind having to transfer from train to bus. n departure, by then mayb all will b tired, so jus take alphard straight to airport.

Another way to Ocean Park is via MTR.

Take to MTR Admiralty and change to South Island Line (green colour line).

For Disney and Ocean Park, I would go first thing in the morning before the crowd comes in.

The South Island Line is a new line which just opened and connected to the rest of the system at Admiralty station only.

Its a medium capacity line, just 3 carriages or so, eg like our CCL and DTL.

For Disney, if go early, can probably finish the important rides by lunch time, still got time to go Tung Chung and Big Buddha (via cable car) and then come back to Disney for evening fireworks.

oh, its ok. cos all in the vicinity. Disney and Tung Chung are connected by MTR and just 2 or 3 stations apart.

HK Disney not that many rides one actually, so will be boring to spend the whole day there and wait for fireworks.

I will most likely spend the whole day at disney without going out n come back. If finish the rides will jus walk ard n take rests. Surely the grandparents n kids will b tired.

Got MTR at/near Ocean Park meh?

I last went many years ago. It was the first holiday with the kids, when the younger one was 3 or 4 yo. Had to take bus there.

Going there was easy. But when leaving, it was terrible. The place will make announcement that it's closing for the day, around 6 pm i think. Then everyone headed for the exit, and everyone was either taking cab or queue for bus. There were so many people and so few cabs, that we gave up and decided to take the bus. By that time, the kids were dead tired and my wife and i had to carry one of them each while queuing up... And the queue was about 150 to 200 m long... Lucky the double-decker buses came like 2 at a time... and we managed to get on board one after 4 or 6 buses...
