Theoldjaffa Hypersonic March 7, 2018 Share March 7, 2018 (edited) Piang eh....buy merc gotta buy on high loan? Whatâs the point?Dun get u. He is not a MCFer so he doesn't practise full cash. It's the standard 40% DP 60% loan, nothing wrong what. He didn't stretch 7 years loan also. I'm just highlighting how overtrade was being used in his case, as compared to another bro's claim that OT is being used to increase list price and get higher loan. Let's not delve into the details of my friend's car or how he choose to spend his money, shall we? Edited March 7, 2018 by Theoldjaffa
Soya Supersonic March 7, 2018 Share March 7, 2018 Errr... I think thatâs the max for deposit they want you to take more loan?No lah. Don’t think C&C can force anyone to take >60% loan. In fact, it’s outlawed. Overtrade is juz a thinly disguised high loan scheme

Garyong84 1st Gear March 8, 2018 Share March 8, 2018 Was quoted $178888 for the C180 avant-garde with $6k service credit, car cam, navigation and $8k special care essential package(grooming etc) which I find useless. SE claim that they are clearing old stock and not many units remaining (not sure how true this is) Can anyone share what package they got for a similar model and if this is a good deal or should I wait 1-2more months and see how things are? Have a 2.5year old car and wanted to trade it in but the deal they offered for the car was 5k below market value. I guess to get good overtrade discount only works for cars with 1year or less COE? Cheers. Hi mine was quoted 183K with the same other things as yours. They clearing stock because c class 2019 model coming in probably 3-4th quarter. My car coe till june they overtrade it approx 8k only. I need some advice guys. C&C quoted C180 avant-garde 183K overtrade 8k Interest rate 2.68% PI quoted me C200 sport version 178K - trade in valve plus body valve only. Interest rate 2.48% Which is consider a better deal in terms of deprec and resales valve? Please advise. Thanks very much.
therock Supersonic March 8, 2018 Share March 8, 2018 5k savings? How long will you borrow money for? That determines how much you save with the PI. Add 10-20k difference for the 200 vs 180... Hmm... Just ask yourself bro, if the panels rattle, will the PI fix it? Or if there is a recall of the starter fuse in the W205 can your PI get it fixed and how much down time? With 6k for some basic service, that can last you about 4 servicings, so that's not bad. Will the PI provide any free service? What does it cover? therock Supersonic March 8, 2018 Share March 8, 2018 Don't forget C&C charges an adoption fee if you have to go back to them.. I saw someone having some issues with their PI car and the PI did not know how to fix it: http://www.sgmerc.com/topic/25791-display-language-for-reverse-parking-guidance/#comment-253648

Piyopico Supercharged March 8, 2018 Share March 8, 2018 (edited) Compare C&C C200 price package with PI easier la. You realize PI don’t sell the C180. I dun remember seeing them. How to compare different models. Specs and OMV etc all different. You need to compare the closest specs possible. In any case the C&C should be at least 10% difference so it is about 20k but it comes with 6k service package plus a few extras worth about one grand etc ....which will last you at about 4 years if mileage is average of 20k. I will just discount any service package from PI. So difference is less than 15k for C200 model. C180 model probably less. Ask yourself whether wanna take the risk or not. If scared then pay up, if not scared then go PI. Real risks of going with PI is potential hold ups if major defects are found, need recall or lemon car. If you think this won’t happen to you then go for it. Out of 10 people maybe 3 will take the savings. Ask yourself if you are one of them. End of story.
