another method is the whole convoy on their hazard light while doing the high speed run.

Ya, let the car with brightest HIDs be the lead car, the rest follow, like bullet train Edited by Maseratigood

Thought I saw the peekture with ashes machiam burnt paper cars for the outer world? How to tow back?

Maybe MY highway operator and polis will send bills to their insurers to ask for garbage disposal fees and seek damages.

i heard a rumour ................ that a MY car cut into Lambo lane <_<

Yes, MY drivers are getting progressively worse, more inconsiderate and bloody-minded. Even though they don't yet match the inconsiderateness of Sg drivers, the fact that speeds are much higher there makes a tragic outcome far more likely. So they should wake up their idea and start driving like Germans on the Autobahn.

Just drove past Hoot Kiam rd.

The Green Lambo wasn't there.

Probably next time we will see the Aventador instead.

Only saw the other regular Yellow porsche.

Is his last name Lee?

At Edward Lee Apartment.

The common mistakes committed when driving in a convoy is often keeping too close. Often, I see Singapore car or bike convoys committing this mistake. Either they fear not being able to keep up with the group, or keeping the group close together looks spectacular, especially when it is a group made up of one make or model. It is like going out in a big group of friends having that macho feeling in a group. More often than not, i observed the latter behaviour more, groups made up of family cars probably has fear of not being to keep up or miss a turn or something, but groups like this situation i think it is more macho that they want to keep close. Being a biker myself and have travelled in convoys, keeping too close is always a problem brewing, and after travelling in a few convoys, i realise i do not like travelling in convoys because it is often not just you alone. The way the other members drive or ride is an important factor too.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was true. I almost died 2 years back when one of them chut pattern right when I was in his blind spot already and I was more than twice his speed.

So? Does it matters? Nearly everyday will have some kuku driver cut into my lane recklessly but you don't see me crashing with another 2 latio and burn up leh... And yes, when im on nshw same, my every trip also will meet some kuku driver and mind you, I seldom go less than 140 on nshw. ... Obviously the 3 musketeers over estimated their driving skill or ride or their skill just can't handle the power of lambo .. Hehehe..

When you're going at that kinda speed in NSHW(or everywhere else), don't concentrate on the car directly in front. Concentrate 2 or 3 cars ahead (or the empty road space). And use your peripheral vision to see the brake lights of the car you're following.

That way, you have more time to react if you see anything.

You made a very good point. What makes it worse is that these cars are super low and cant see far but ego often takes over with the mindset that "my car can make it, it can speed up and brake fast, no problem". With the distance they often keep to the front of the vehicles on any road, they dont seem to treasure their own lives and the lives of others at all. True, these are good cars but many of these drivers do not care about their physical aspects of their machine like being low and has more blind spots. They often forgot one thing, their cars indeed can make it but not necessary the drivers. To us, it is an accident and drivers went unhurt. No pity required as these drivers have tons of cash to burn, buy themselves another, and continue their way of driving.

The risk in going at extreme high speeds is that the driver in front who cuts into your lane may not be experienced enough to tell in his rear view mirror at what speed you are approaching him from behind, he may think you are doing at 170kmh when in fact its more like 280kmh, his wrong judgement can make him cut in thinking that you can slow down in time.

Whether its his fault or not is not the point when this ends up in a mess.

it quite ok to be the tail-end charlie and keep a distance from the main convoy... relak and enjoy whatever scenary or music available. [grin]

if really need to rush, dont join any convoy the best
