5th thrust is last...phew.......intensive efforts to upgrade constructon sector.

few initiative sto encourag ethis....drink water

 

GLS mandate use of productive technologies in construction indus.

 

incentivise developers to adopt productive tech in non-GLS sites

 

increase buildability etc for projects

standardised floor heights and prefab, etc.

FW levy increase for basic skilled up to $700 fr $600 those with Basic Skilled R2

 

levy for R1 WP holder unchanged. So more skilled workers are brought in.

 

min prop of R1 WP holders so FW are more skilled.

 

Construction forms retain skilled workers, and use recognition framework...good good...sarpork

those earning $1600 will get better chance to upgrade to R1.

 

R1 WP holders from 18-22 yrs max....good good. Let those who here to work and do a good job, stay

need to fund these needs, adn the balance of funding. tax, riskpooling, indiv co-payments, n safety nets


ensure cost inflation is controlled.....long term

 

reshape healthcare system...hahah

 

polyclinics need bigger roles and community health centres to be increased

 

hospitals Drs, insurers are incentivised so that Tx are sound and cost effective


2nd challenge is developing in quality ppl in social sector...wah social workers huat ah


Drs, nurses, n AH professionals need to build effective networks to handle complex networks...wah maybe higher salary...i go back to that sector...kekekeke

budget will give more to lower/middle income students

 

in kindergarten fee assessment scheme extended to midd income group cos kindergarten fees based on lower middle

 

so bottom qualrtile pay $3/mth

 

lower-middle pay $85

healthcare now

 

subsidies increased. CPF contributions increased

 

medishield life: higher premiums, but lower for lower middle income

 

perm subsidies for lower/middle income...hmmm, do i qualify?

 

ease transition into med life, offset subsidy even for higher income

 

do more to keep op care for lower/middle.

 

now subsidy is 50% for all sudsidiised. for lower/middle incr to 70% for lower and 60% for middle.....good good
