I am driving the older 1.5litre model..

Pick up not that strong.. But ride is comfortable enough.. Comparable to Camry. Servicing cost is very reasonable.. Sign up for the package about 1k that covers for 4 servicing.. Very good value.

Spare parts for Nissan is very cheap.. No need heart attack when time due for replacement.

I am considering replacing my ride with the 1.6 when it's due for change.

The servicing package still cost 1K? Really? It was this price back in 2006 and no increase after 8 years? [thumbsup] I still remember getting the windscreen treatment that cost about $25. Not sure now still available. Nissan still provide the best experience for workshop imho, not including the atas makes. If have suitable car, will not hesitate to make the move.

Then sylphy is the only choice.... And a good one... If it come with auto instead of cvt, I will consider... My current Latio has zero problem no matter how hard I trash it around... Hehehe....

The new City has rear a/c, 6 airbags, cruise control, 2 DIN head unit with rear cam also... but CVT too.

Can somebody tell me how to lift up the new sylphy windscreen wipers. Seems impossible, as the hood is getting in its way?

ok just go and check, the design of the car makes the wiper impossible to lift up 100% as the bonnet is blocking it. if u need to lift up, once you off engine, immediately engage the washer lever and the wiper will swing up then you can lift up the wiper.

btw, sylhy have sport mode. if another testing this car, try test the sport mode. when the gear in on D mode, press the bottom at the side to the gear knob. it will become sport mode!

have fun!

sport mode basically holds the gears in higher rev much longer and does nothing to power.

in other word, its almost useless.

1.6 DIG Turbo is CatB as it is few cc more than 1600.

How does one get to know the number of cars sold in each model? The LTA website groups by manufacturer - say Nissan, Toyota, etc.
