hard to beat Vezel

Hyundai SUV sales is pathetic, only 66 for Jan-Mar 2016.

They should price them competitively with Japanese cars.

For those expecting their X-trail to be deliver end oc April or Early May, do you know if the delivery time was affected by the recent Japan earthquake?

I am looking forward to this coming weekend Car expo. Now my choice narrow down to X-trail or OL. Can I have some advice should I go for X-trail as I have concern on the third row space and legroom.

FYI. My family size is 6 ppl including me (3A 3C). Is X-trail or OL better?

Had the same tough choice as you few months back, but if you come to xtrail sub forum people will surely praise more about the xtrail then the outlander, so I would suggest you go to YouTube and do a thorough comparison and etc, then come to a conclusion on your own needs

Personally I've chosen the x trail over the outlander

never consider the 216d GT? same road tax $ n monthly outlay if add installment n petrol bill together is about the same. but you gotta fork out more for downpayment of course.

Yes. Most buyer will consider these 2 as they are in similar price bracket & offer 3rd row option.

Look further up this thread on why I decided to go for XT. No regrets so far.

It depends what you are looking for :

- 3rd row comfort

- power to weight ratio, the drive

- exterior looks

- interior features

It's all up to own tastes.

I feel that the outlander is a handsome car. But like Paul said, the interior simply cannot make it. And no aircon vents for second row for such a big car? I can't imagine how stuffy the back will feel in Singapore's warm climate.

I though OL is a MPV? Then XT and OL is SUV vs MPV, already one difference.

Hi Hamiles69, I'm in the same situation as you currently comparing OL and XT. I think I saw you posted the same question in OL FB group.

I have test drive both over the weekend, and tested out both 3rd row seats and tried adjusting 2nd row forward a notch or two to test if the 3rd row experience could be better with some adjustments.

My take: OL wins on space on 3rd row. XT wins on a more quiet and smooth drive. 3D camera is useful, interior finishing better, seats more comfortable, and quiet ride.

I'm leaning towards XT now, as I weigh my driving experience on a daily basis more than the 3rd row seat which I will only use once a week over weekends.

Another point I considered is running cost and maintenance during agent's warranty period. XT is cheaper on running cost, and TC have service packages that covers ALL parts including brake pads, air filter etc.

Situation could be different for you, though. Just sharing my thought.
