The activation of the rear wheels to make it AWD only kicks in when it senses that the front wheels are losing traction right?

 

So meaning to say, in SG, if not driven hard, its effectively 95% FWD?

Nope for the xtrail there's actually a knob to change to fwd or awd

Thanks a good feature.  Esp when driving in heavy rain.  Also saw an earlier post on the very flexi seat arrangement to choose from 2 by 3, 2 by 2 by 2, 2 by 3 by 1.  The rear +2 seats have option to fold down 1 side right?

Yes you can. Last two 2 seats can be folded down individually.

Had just booked a X-trial during car expo.

Like to ask where do you guys do the auto lock? The types that the car move then will auto lock the doors.

I ask my sales person he say this one cant be done..

Any owner did it?

From what I know, autolock cannot be done on XT

I call tan chong service center and ask about the car alarm can it be install to x trail using qashqai module..  all i get is transfer around till someone from sales tell me no. Cant be installed. 

From customer to service consultant to parts and service then back customer service.. none can answer this question.. zzz

Can wind down window without removing the shades. The magnet is strong enough with window down travelling at 90km/hr.

I remember somewhere some review mentioned AWD only kick in below 40km/h even if you lock it to AWD. Any owner can confirm? Edited May 4, 2016 by Stdfrank

lock AWD is strictly for low speed. 

 

Dont spoil your transmission and transfer case. It will be hell of a burn in your pocket to repair. 

 

Likewise, even in auto mode, it will be activated when the speed is low enough for safe operation.

bro, not to pour cold water on you. I dont foresee COE price will drop if UBER and Grabcar are still in this game. Unless they are being pull out, otherwise i think COE will not drop less than 40K by end of the year.

As long as dun rent from LCR, they wont keep bidding too
