Iago Aspas joined Saville on loan with option to buy. I am sure we will all miss his corners.

On Markovic, here is a sneak preview:

even after showing the world wat pool are capable of, they r still unable to attract the players from the top tier levels. guess pool's reputation has really taken a hit these last 3-4 yrs.

Yup, since Rafa left till BR arrives, we were totally incapable in getting the right players in. The finance is shaky, the manager is clueless. But that have passed. We have moved on and looking at our targets, they fit what BR is looking for. He wants young, versatile and most importantly, hungry players (I know Suarez might have taken the hunger out of context :D).

When we want to try for big name, a star player, the playing field might be totally different. They no longer just need a stage to shine, they are looking at a pay package that is worthy of their status, a club that will continue to let him perform at the pinnacle of football competition and winning trophies. When comng to that, competition is stiff. We don't have the money to splash. If we do, we can do a Man City. When big name players start joining, more will follow as they know the chance of success is higher.

So, just let FSG and BR continue with their philosophy. Sign good players and make them great.

I am sure we will know why #50 is special for him soon. Should be a question posed. He wore it at Partizan and Benfica.

Need to sustain our challenges, UCL and domestic league. One-off I feel might not do. Once we are always there or about for 3-5 years, will be more appealing.

Sharing what was said by the Italian jorno on Man U and Vidal:

"One month ago contact betweet Juventus and Man Utd for Arturo Vidal. No official bid, no agreement. And from that moment, no more talks"

Edinson Cavani linked to EPL.

What do you guys think of him?

I personally feel he's nothing special but admittedly he works hard and is unselfish but his striker qualities look average to me and thus I won't pay the going rate of 60mil.

Feedback welcome!

I just know Pool can't afford him lol. Hearing he told his agent to explore with EPL but unless he willing to take pay cut, not many team can afford. Hearing he is unhappy at PSG cause he can't play centrally.

Didn't watch him enough to comment on his ability :)

Sami to arsenal no more is it? Wage demand too high.

Still on.

Torres?

Torres was much later I think.

That immediate window we got in Reina, Momo Sissoko and Zenden.
