Bot this in JB. Giant selling this for about RM90...SGD30...4 hooks...more secure than the 2 hooks and looks really cool when locked on steering wheel. compared to baseball bat type looks really ugly and useless. Fit the M5 steering wheel like a glove.

Video for reference. Especially for bros who frequent JB like me...hehe.

Just wondering. Anyone connects the AVH-X2750BT to a Apple iPod or iPhone for music? Do you need a physical cable?

Use Bluetooth to connect

Now more familiar with i-stop, i find that it matches my usual drive pattern very well especially for traffic light situation.

This is what i do when i reached the traffic light.

put to neutral.

handbrake up.

footbrake release.

i-stop kick in. engine kiled. Yes. i-stop can still kick in when footbrake is not stepped.

njoy the peace and quiet.

just when the light about to turn green,

step on footbrake and engine comes to life.

handbrake release.

put to D

off i go..

for start-stop-start-stop bumper  to bumper traffic, i normally will just disable it.

today also have chance to go on a steep carpark slope (about 50 deg).

no roll back at all when footbreak release. havent even step accelerator yet.

Bro my advice is no point doing it now since your car has already so many nicks and dings, unless you want to respray first. PPS is also not foolproof against such impacts. Mine has PPS but still got some dings from idiots opening their doors and banging into mine. The only good thing about PPS is the car won't get dirty so easily and the smoothness last much longer than a normal polish.

I 2nd with Weewee1976. The PPS doesn't help to restore the paint... either collect more...the respray...or just ignore it and live with it...

Thanks for the input ... Did some touch up, with the touch paint given by the sales lady when I get the car.

Just live with it... that is so much we can do to prevent it but there is too many idiotic ppl out there to deal with...

Finally getting about average 9L per 100km or about 11km per litre after 1 week. about 50% city and 50% highway. I find the Current indicator to be better than the Average indicator. It lets me know my real time consumption.

I just finish my 1st full tank. I pumped Shell 98.. ( But i cant pump 60l, only pump 50l already full). I drive average (90 - 100)km/h mostly i keep rpm at 2000rmp.  So i get 584km for the 50l. Now trying second tank... i on 50% city and 50% hw..

I suspect its because when the MT fuel indicator lights up, there is still a reserve of about 10L left. My previous ride also like that. when MT light is on, i can still drive for a considerable distance. Based on 10L per 100KM...i think it is safe to drive for at least another 50KM before refuelling...will get a small tank of petrol in the boot to try out my theory next time...drive until bone dry...hehe.

For me not so keen to install bodykit. the stock kit i think good enough for me.

1. extra weight for the car,..M5 is already quite heavy...1.3+ tons...i was thinking of getting rid of the spare tyre already...haha.

2. it may change the aerodynamics of the car...i think the present aerodynamics of the car is great...Compared to my previous ride, i discover i can literally cruise for a longer distance whenever i put my gear to N from D. of course the heavier weight helps also...haha.

3. depending on whether installer got 'kang hu',...some parts of the kit may become unhinge overtime...that was what happen to my previous ride..

tho i must say kitting makes the car look damm cool..but uncle here pass that phase liao...hehe.

was driving along TPE/SLE just now towards Yishun. Was driving at 90km/hr and at the punggol stretch, just about to step on more gas to go faster when the corner of my eye saw the red flashing camera symbol on the GPS screen. For a moment i thot WTF?...then i quickly realise its an indication of speed camera...but i know that stretch has no fixed speed camera, so i thot maybe mounted on the overhead bridge until I thot i saw 'something' at the divider hidden between the bushes...exactly at the spot indicated by the GPS. i m not sure whether is a speed camera.

i know the GPS will indicated speed cameras which are permanent, i am not sure whether it can show impromptu speed cameras...my experience today seems to indicate so....

any bros know?

Bro no need to guess. Just press the info button on your steering wheel and toggle to the "distance left" for an estimate on how far more your fuel can take you before it goes empty.
